Guests visiting Disney’s Animal Kingdom can now experience an updated version of Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, as Disney has introduced new enhancements to the popular 4D attraction, including an all-new pre-show featuring Patrick Warburton as Mayor Winddancer from the upcoming Zootopia 2.
The refreshed experience debuted today, giving guests even more reasons to visit the Tree of Life Theater, where the attraction celebrates the diverse world of Zootopia through stunning visuals, immersive 4D effects, and appearances from beloved characters.
What’s New at Zootopia: Better Zoogether!
The newest addition to this Walt Disney World attraction is a brand-new pre-show starring Patrick Warburton, who voices Mayor Winddancer in Zootopia 2. The pre-show helps set the stage for the adventure ahead.
He welcomes guests and introduces the story before the main 4D presentation begins.
What Is Zootopia: Better Zoogether!?
Located inside the iconic Tree of Life Theater, Zootopia: Better Zoogether! is a 4D attraction that brings together characters from both Zootopia and Zootopia 2 for a lively celebration known as Zoogether Day.
The story follows a citywide event where every biome across Zootopia comes together to celebrate unity through music, entertainment, and unforgettable performances. Guests join Judy Hopps, Nick Wilde, and friends for a livestream watch party featuring celebrations happening throughout the city.
It even features an incredible AudioAnamatronic of Officer Clawhouswer!
Highlights of the show include:
- An ice-skating spectacular from Tundratown
- Synchronized swimming performed in Marsh Market
- Tiny mouse drone performances soaring over Little Rodentia
- A spectacular musical finale starring international pop sensation Gazelle
The attraction combines 4D effects, vibrant animation, and plenty of humor, making it an entertaining experience for guests of all ages.
Meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde
To celebrate Zootopia: Better Zoogether!, Guests can also meet Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.
The meet-and-greet gives fans the opportunity to interact with Zootopia’s beloved duo, take photos, and complete a full Zootopia-themed visit after experiencing the attraction.
Final Thoughts
Truthfully, I’m a little surprise to see an update to the attraction so soon after opening back in November, but given that the attraction, while incredibly kid-friendly, is a little light on story, it’s nice to see Disney pivot so quickly on updates, no matter how small. Granted, there are still issues that should be addressed, but this gives me hope that maybe they could be in the future.
