Disney's BoardWalk

Disney’s BoardWalk is set to receive several exciting additions in late 2026, giving guests even more reasons to spend time exploring one of Walt Disney World’s most popular resort destinations.

From a brand-new entertainment lounge to an immersive shopping experience and a new dining location on the way, the BoardWalk continues to evolve while maintaining its unique charm and waterfront atmosphere.

One of the biggest additions coming to Disney’s BoardWalk is a new lounge called Hurly-Burly.

What makes this location particularly unique is that it will offer two very different experiences depending on the time of day.

During the afternoon, Hurly-Burly will welcome families with interactive activities led by a lively host. Guests can participate in trivia, games, and other family-friendly entertainment, creating an atmosphere that to me, feels surprisingly reminiscent of some of the interactive venues found aboard Disney Cruise Line ships.

As the sun sets, Hurly-Burly will transform into an adults-only destination for guests ages 21 and older.

The evening experience will feature live music performances, coastal-inspired cocktails, and light bites, creating a relaxing atmosphere where guests can unwind while enjoying a variety of musical acts. Whether you’re looking for a pre-dinner drink or a place to spend the evening, Hurly-Burly appears poised to become a popular addition to the BoardWalk nightlife scene.

Guests looking for a unique shopping experience will soon have another reason to visit Disney’s BoardWalk.

Basin on the BoardWalk will introduce a new retail concept focused on handcrafted bath and body products made with quality ingredients.

The shop will feature Basin’s popular lineup of products, including:

  • Natural soaps
  • Botanical bath salts
  • Bath bombs
  • Body butters
  • Lip salves
  • Shampoo and conditioner bars
  • And more

However, this location will go beyond traditional retail offerings by incorporating interactive experiences throughout the store.

Guests will be able to create their own custom bath tea blends, participate in a make-your-own-soap experience, and even personalize products using a soap embossing press.

More Changes Are Still on the Way

The updates to Disney’s BoardWalk aren’t stopping there.

Disney has also confirmed that a new quick-service restaurant is coming to the BoardWalk, with additional details expected to be announced later this summer.

Very curious to see what’s coming down the pipeline!

A New Chapter for Disney’s BoardWalk

These additions are part of a larger transformation taking place along Disney’s BoardWalk.

In recent years, guests have seen several longtime BoardWalk offerings close their doors, including the popular Jellyrolls dueling piano bar and Big River Grille & Brewing Works. Both venues had become staples of the BoardWalk experience for many visitors. Both their departures marked a significant change for the waterfront entertainment district.
