Airport Luggage Transfer Service Lets Disney Guests Skip Baggage Claim at Orlando International Airport

Good news for Walt Disney World travelers flying into Orlando International Airport (MCO)! Guests staying at select Disney Resort hotels may soon be able to skip baggage claim entirely and head straight to the magic.
Thanks to a new partnership with BagCheck, a third-party luggage delivery provider, eligible guests can have their checked bags transported directly to or from the airport to their Disney Resort hotel.
And honestly? This feels like a little bit of Disney vacation convenience returning in a BIG way.
How the Airport Luggage Transfer Works
The process is designed to make arriving at Walt Disney World easier and more stress-free.
With BagCheck, guests can:
- Check their luggage at their airline’s ticket counter or bag drop area before departure
- Fly into Orlando International Airport
- Skip traditional baggage claim entirely upon arrival
- Have their checked luggage picked up directly at MCO
- Get their bags delivered straight to their Disney Resort hotel
According to the service details, luggage should arrive at the resort within approximately four hours of landing.
That means guests can head straight to:
- The parks
- Disney Springs
- Their resort pool
- Dining reservations
…without dragging suitcases around first.
This service is ONLY available for eligible arriving and departing domestic flights, however.
Registration Details
Guests interested in using the service will need to register ahead of time.
The registration window:
- Opens 30 days prior to departure
- Closes 5 days before departure
So this is definitely something travelers will want to plan for in advance.
Participating Airlines
Airport luggage transfer will be available for guests flying with:
- American Airlines
- United Airlines
- Southwest Airlines
Additional airlines could potentially be added later.
Participating Disney Resort Hotels
Currently, the service is only available for guests staying at select Value Resorts, including:
- Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Music Resort
- Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort
- Disney’s Art of Animation Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
Disney has not announced whether the service will expand to additional resorts in the future, but many guests are already hoping that happens.
