Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade Taking Place For Two Days in November

Fans of Christmas, get ready! The fantastic Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade has been added to the Magic Kingdom schedule during regular park hours on both Saturday, November 9 and Sunday, November 10, 2024. The parade will take place at 2:00 p.m. each day. The Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade will not take place during these two days. This parade is usually exclusive to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, especially that early in the holiday season.
Given how things have worked in the past, it would appear as though the ABC Disney Holiday Special/Disney ABC Christmas Day Parade will be filmed that weekend. It would also be a good assumption that the Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade will roll down Main Street U.S.A. for the taping.
For those who will be in Walt Disney World that weekend, I would say you should probably be on the lookout for additional filming. This would likely include performances from celebrities throughout the resorts and in the theme parks. While Disney never officially really confirms the weekend ahead of time, the fact that the Disney Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is on the calendar, that specific weekend, generally indicates that that would be the case. This is usually the weekend that the ABC Holiday Specials are filmed.
