Your Complete Guide to the EPCOT International Festival of the Arts 2027
Art comes to life at Walt Disney World during the 2027 EPCOT International Festival of the Arts, celebrating visual, culinary and performing arts inspired by creativity from around the world.
Throughout the festival, EPCOT transforms into a colorful showcase filled with gallery exhibits, live artists, art-inspired food, Disney on Broadway performances, interactive activities, scavenger hunts, photo opportunities and more.
And there’s even more time to enjoy it all in 2027! The EPCOT Festival of the Arts will last one week longer than before, giving guests additional opportunities to experience one of EPCOT’s most unique festivals. This year the festival will take place from January 15 through March 1, 2027.
From collecting exclusive Disney Lorcana cards to painting part of a massive mural, trying dishes from 19 Food Studios and watching Broadway performers take the stage, there’s a LOT to experience.

What’s New for the 2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts?
One of the biggest changes for 2027 is something EPCOT Festival of the Arts fans have been wanting for a while: more time to enjoy the festival!
The EPCOT International Festival of the Arts will run one week longer than before, giving guests additional time to experience the food, entertainment, artwork and activities around the park.
Another major experience returning in 2027 is the Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game, complete with opportunities to earn limited-edition cards.
Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game Returns to the 2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts
Disney Lorcana Trading Card Game is returning to EPCOT International Festival of the Arts with activities that turn exploring EPCOT into a card-collecting adventure.
There will be two primary activities: the Collection Quest and Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt.
Disney Lorcana Collection Quest
During the Collection Quest, guests become Illumineers and can open Disney Lorcana booster packs and trade cards with other guests inside the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion.
Complete the quest and you’ll be able to redeem a special limited-edition card.
The card can be redeemed at the Illumineer’s Lounge in Morocco or Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey.
Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt
You’ll also want to keep your eyes open for oversized Disney Lorcana cards hidden throughout EPCOT.
During the Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt, guests search for these larger-than-life trading cards and match each discovery to special ink stickers inside the complimentary Festival Questbook.
Complete the hunt and you’ll receive an additional limited-edition card.
How to Participate in the Disney Lorcana Activities
To participate in both experiences:
- Pick up a complimentary Festival Questbook on the bridge to World Showcase beginning at 9:00 a.m., while supplies last.
- Follow the instructions inside the Festival Questbook to complete the Collection Quest and Ink & Find Scavenger Hunt.
- After completing the activities, pick up your Magical Places promo cards at the Illumineer’s Lounge in the Morocco Pavilion or Figment’s Inspiration Station at The Odyssey.
Our Tip: Do the Lorcana Experience Early!
If collecting the limited-edition Lorcana cards is important to you, make this one of your first stops of the day.
This experience was EXTREMELY popular last year, with cards being distributed by early afternoon on many days.
Because the complimentary Festival Questbooks and special Lorcana cards are available while supplies last, arriving early could make a big difference.
Disney on Broadway Concert Series
One of the highlights of every EPCOT Festival of the Arts is the Disney on Broadway Concert Series.
In collaboration with Disney Theatrical, Broadway performers take the stage at America Gardens Theatre to perform favorite songs from award-winning Disney stage productions.
Past performances have featured music from shows including The Lion King, Newsies and Aladdin.
Performances are scheduled three times each evening:
- 5:30 p.m.
- 6:45 p.m.
- 8:00 p.m.
Disney has not yet announced the 2027 Disney on Broadway performer lineup. We’ll update this guide when the performers and their dates are revealed.
Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Packages
If seeing the Disney on Broadway Concert Series is one of your festival priorities, consider booking a Disney on Broadway Concert Series Dining Package.
Guests can choose from participating EPCOT restaurants for lunch or dinner before enjoying priority seating for a Disney on Broadway concert.
Dining packages include an entrée and dessert or a full buffet, depending on the participating restaurant, along with priority concert seating.
Once Upon a Stage: The Magic of Disney on Broadway
The Broadway celebration doesn’t stop at America Gardens Theatre.
Head inside CommuniCore Hall to explore Once Upon a Stage: The Magic of Disney on Broadway.
This exhibit celebrates the artistry behind Disney’s stage productions, including The Lion King, Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast.
Guests can discover authentic costumes and props, elaborate photo opportunities and behind-the-scenes details that offer a closer look at how Disney stories make the transition from screen to stage.
For Disney theater fans, this is definitely an experience you’ll want to add to your festival itinerary.
19 Food Studios Coming to the 2027 EPCOT Festival of the Arts
The culinary arts are just as important to this festival as paintings and performances.
For 2027, guests can look forward to 19 Food Studios located throughout EPCOT.
Unlike a typical theme park snack stand, Festival of the Arts Food Studios emphasize presentation alongside flavor, with colorful and intricate dishes designed to look almost as impressive as they taste.
The Food Studios offer an opportunity to sample smaller dishes while making your way around the park, so come hungry!
Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine
Want to turn your festival food tour into a challenge? Take part in the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.
Look inside your Festival Passport for specially designated menu items participating in the food stroll.
Each time you purchase one, you’ll receive a stamp.
Once you’ve tried at least five of the seven participating dishes and collected the corresponding stamps, take your Festival Passport to the Deco Delights Food Studio to receive a complimentary treat.
Figment’s Brush with the Masters Scavenger Hunt
Of course, it wouldn’t be an EPCOT festival without Figment getting involved!
During Figment’s Brush with the Masters, guests explore World Showcase looking for Figment hiding inside famous works of art.
Purchase a map and stickers from participating merchandise locations, including:
- Creations Shop
- Disney Traders
- World Traveler
Then, explore each World Showcase pavilion searching for artwork displayed inside a Figment-themed frame.
When you find Figment, place the corresponding location sticker on your map.
After completing your hunt, return your map to Disney Traders or World Traveler to receive an artsy surprise.
Animation Academy
Ever wanted to learn how to draw a Disney character?
Animation Academy gives guests the opportunity to do exactly that with help from a talented Disney artist.
Sessions take place daily at America Gardens Theatre at 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
You’ll follow along with an animation artist as they guide you through the process of creating your own Disney character drawing.
And when you’re finished, you’ve got a pretty great Festival of the Arts souvenir to take home!
Step Into Famous Artwork With Festival Photo Opportunities
Some of the most entertaining photo opportunities at Festival of the Arts allow you to literally step inside famous works of art.
You can recreate iconic scenes, cross the Delaware with George Washington or pose as part of a Disney-inspired masterpiece.
Disney PhotoPass photographers will be available at select locations to help capture your photos.

Expression Section: A Paint-by-Number Mural
You don’t have to be a professional artist to contribute to a massive piece of artwork during the festival.
Head to the walkway between World Showcase and the Imagination! Pavilion for the Expression Section.
Here, guests can watch a massive mural slowly come to life, or grab a paintbrush and contribute to it themselves.
The experience is offered from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Over time, thousands of individual painted squares combine to reveal the completed artwork.
Discover Chalk Art Around EPCOT
Keep an eye on the ground as you’re exploring EPCOT!
Throughout the festival, guests can discover chalk drawings featuring Disney characters created around the park.
Because these pieces can appear as you explore, finding them adds another fun element to wandering around EPCOT during Festival of the Arts.
Kids Chalk Art
The younger artists in your group can create something themselves during Kids Chalk Art.
The experience takes place in World Celebration near the Imagination! Pavilion Plaza from 11:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. daily.
Kids can grab some chalk and create their own colorful masterpiece right inside EPCOT.
Musical Performances at CommuniCore Plaza
Visual art isn’t the only art form being celebrated.
Guests can enjoy live musical performances at CommuniCore Plaza throughout the festival.
Performances are offered daily, with exact times available through the My Disney Experience app.
Art in Performance
You can also watch artists create incredible pieces right before your eyes during Art in Performance at CommuniCore Plaza.
Rather than simply viewing a finished work, this experience lets guests see the creative process unfold as part of a live performance.
Performance schedules can vary, so check the My Disney Experience app for showtimes during your visit.
Meet Artists and Shop for Original Disney Artwork
If you’re looking for something special to bring home, shopping during Festival of the Arts is an attraction in itself.
Throughout the festival, Disney artists and representatives from visiting galleries showcase their work around EPCOT.
Guests can browse and purchase original artwork, reproductions and other artistic merchandise, while select artists demonstrate their skills in person.
There are also opportunities to meet artists, making this an especially fun festival for Disney art collectors.
Look for artwork and merchandise at Art of Disney and locations throughout EPCOT.
EPCOT Festival of the Arts Tips
There’s a surprising amount to experience during EPCOT Festival of the Arts, so it’s worth having at least a loose plan before arriving.
If you’re interested in the Disney Lorcana promo cards, prioritize the Festival Questbook and cards when you arrive. Based on the popularity of the experience last year, waiting until later in the afternoon could mean missing out.
If you’re interested in food, grab a Festival Passport and look through the 19 Food Studios before you start ordering. That will also help if you’re planning to complete the Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine.
For Disney on Broadway fans, check which performers are appearing on your visit once the 2027 schedule is announced. You can also consider a Disney on Broadway Dining Package if priority seating is important to you.
And don’t rush from one major activity to another. Some of the best parts of Festival of the Arts are the things you’ll discover simply by exploring, from artists creating new pieces to chalk drawings and live performances.
