Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto Coming to Disney’s Animal Kingdom

The world of Encanto is coming to life at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and Disney has revealed exciting new details about the highly anticipated attraction coming to Tropical Americas.

The new attraction will be one of two headlining experiences in the land, joining Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent.

Now we know the attraction has an official name: Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto.

The experience will invite guests into the world of the Madrigal family to celebrate a very special occasion which is Antonio’s gift day, when he discovers his magical ability to communicate with animals.

What Is Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto About?

The attraction centers around Antonio Madrigal and his extraordinary gift.

In Encanto, Antonio receives the ability to communicate with animals, allowing him to form special connections with creatures throughout the rainforest surrounding his home.

For the attraction, guests will join Antonio and the Madrigal family as they celebrate this important milestone.

At the heart of the experience is a message about connection and belonging: we are all part of the familia of living things, regardless of our individual gifts or abilities.

That message fits naturally within Disney’s Animal Kingdom, where the connections between people, animals, and the natural world are central to the park’s theme.

A Celebration Inside Casita

The adventure begins as guests enter Casita, the magical home of the Madrigal family.

Because the story takes place on Antonio’s gift day, the house has been transformed for a joyful family celebration.

Guests will board ride vehicles designed to look like different pieces of furniture assembled by the magical power of Casita.

From there, the journey will take guests through the rooms of the Madrigal home as they make their way toward Antonio’s room.

The magical house itself becomes an important part of the attraction, with Casita helping transport guests through the experience.

Enter Antonio’s Rainforest

Eventually, guests will arrive upstairs in Antonio’s room, but this isn’t quite the room fans remember from the movie.

Antonio’s space has been transformed into a lush, verdant rainforest, filled with animals of all shapes and sizes.

And there are a lot of them.

Disney says the attraction will feature more than 50 animals throughout the experience.

That gives guests plenty to discover as they travel through Antonio’s magical world and experience his ability to communicate with the creatures around him.

From the smallest animals to larger rainforest residents, the environment is designed to feel alive and overflowing with wildlife.

No Height Requirement

Families will also be happy to hear that Antonio’s Fiesta de Encanto will have no height requirement.

That means guests of all ages can experience the attraction together, making it an especially appealing addition to a Disney’s Animal Kingdom day.
