Atlantic Dance Hall Ending Regular Operations at Disney’s BoardWalk as Hurly-Burly Opens

A longtime nightlife location at Disney’s BoardWalk is about to undergo a major change. Atlantic Dance Hall will end its regular weekend operations beginning October 1, 2026, as Disney prepares to introduce a new entertainment option along the BoardWalk at Walt Disney World.
Because of its current operating schedule, September 27 will be the final day guests can visit Atlantic Dance Hall during its regular public operating hours.
However, this isn’t the complete end of Atlantic Dance Hall. The venue will remain available as a space for private events through Disney Meetings & Events and Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.
Atlantic Dance Hall’s Last Day for Regular Guests Is September 27
Atlantic Dance Hall has long been one of the nightlife options available at Disney’s BoardWalk, offering guests an adults-only place to dance and enjoy music after spending the day in the parks.
Is Atlantic Dance Hall Closing Permanently?
Not exactly.
Although Atlantic Dance Hall will no longer operate regularly for the public, the space itself isn’t going away.
Disney plans to continue offering the venue for private functions through Disney Meetings & Events as well as Disney Fairy Tale Weddings.
That means guests could still attend events inside Atlantic Dance Hall in the future, but only as part of a private event rather than its previous weekend nightlife operations.
Hurly-Burly Opens at Disney’s BoardWalk October 1
The change comes as Disney’s BoardWalk prepares to welcome an entirely new entertainment venue. Hurly-Burly officially opens October 1, 2026, bringing a new day-to-night entertainment experience to the BoardWalk.
During the afternoon, families will be welcome to participate in games, trivia and other interactive activities, giving guests another place to spend time outside the parks.
Beginning at 9 p.m., Hurly-Burly will become an adults-only lounge for guests ages 21 and older.
The nighttime experience will feature live music and a more relaxed lounge atmosphere. This creates a new option for adults looking for evening entertainment around Disney’s BoardWalk.
