CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular to Debut This Summer

Have you ever seen a nighttime show at Universal Orlando Resort? I have an they are incredible! These nighttime shows take place at the Universal Studios Florida lagoon and they tell great stories and for this summer, a brand new show is coming to tell a whole new story!

CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular will debut on June 14 and will be an all-new, exhilarating nighttime show that will celebrate the emotional power of music. This show will take the iconic scores and scenes from blockbuster films that have inspired Universal Orlando’s past, present and future attractions. (Yep….I said future….)

CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular will include music from the Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts films, Jurassic World, Jaws, Shrek, Ghostbusters, Trolls, Back to the Future, Universal Monsters, Transformers, How to Train Your Dragon, E.T., Fast and Furious, The Super Mario Bros. Movie, Minions, The Mummy and King Kong.

And if you think the musical part of this is the best part….no no….you would be wrong! The visuals are set to be spectacular. CineSational: A Symphonic Spectacular will include an impressive collection of technologies and special effects that will bring this show to life. The lagoon show will feature 228 fountains that reach heights up to 131 feet, incredible 4K projection mapping, oh and more than 600 drones!

Also announced to be opening this summer will be DreamWorks Land, which also opens on June 14. Guests also won’t want to miss Hogwarts Always Castle Projection Show which debuts on June 14! Plus the Universal Mega Movie Parade which debuts July 3.

Final Thoughts

I wasn’t kidding when I said that Universal’s nighttime lagoon spectaculars are incredible. I’ve seen a couple of them and they really pull out all the stops and this new show, it sounds like they aren’t holding anything back!
