Universal Epic Universe is about to get even sweeter. Guests visiting the brand-new theme park will soon have the chance to meet Captain Cacao, an adorable chocolate-loving bear created exclusively for Epic Universe.
The brand-new character meet and greet experience officially begins on May 22 inside Celestial Park.
Who Is Captain Cacao?
Captain Cacao is a whimsical new character designed specifically for Universal Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort.
The lovable bear is:
- Chocolate obsessed
- Full of personality
- Designed to fit perfectly into the imaginative world of Celestial Park
And honestly…he already looks like he’s going to become an instant fan favorite.
A Character Made Just for Epic Universe
Unlike many theme park characters tied to existing movies or franchises, Captain Cacao was created exclusively for Epic Universe.

Captain Cacao already feels like one of those characters that guests are going to fall in love with immediately. (I mean I’ve already fallen in love with my plush Captain Cacao!)
