Disneyland Halloween Time 2026 Dates Announced: Oogie Boogie Bash, Haunted Mansion Holiday & More

It may still be summer, but Disneyland Resort is already preparing for spooky season. Disney has officially announced that Halloween Time at Disneyland Resort will return from August 21 through October 31, 2026, bringing fan-favorite entertainment, attraction overlays, seasonal dining, character costumes, and the return of Oogie Boogie Bash.
From Haunted Mansion Holiday and Halloween Screams to Radiator Screams and Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit, there will be plenty of Halloween fun throughout Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, and the Disneyland Resort hotels.
Halloween Time at Disneyland Park
Disneyland Park will once again transform into a festive Halloween celebration filled with pumpkins, seasonal décor, and beloved Disney characters dressed for the occasion.
Mickey and Friends Debut New Halloween Costumes
Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, and their pals will greet guests in Town Square wearing brand-new Halloween outfits created specifically for the 2026 season.
The costumes feature:
- Harlequin-inspired patterns
- Frilled collars and cuffs
- Swirling confection details
- Orange, yellow, and black color palettes
These new looks are sure to become a popular photo opportunity throughout the season.
Haunted Mansion Holiday Returns
One of Disneyland’s most beloved seasonal overlays is returning once again.
Haunted Mansion Holiday transforms the classic attraction into a celebration of Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, blending Halloween and Christmas into one unforgettable experience.
For many Disneyland fans, Halloween Time simply wouldn’t feel complete without a visit to Jack Skellington’s holiday makeover.
Halloween Screams Returns

The fan-favorite nighttime spectacular Halloween Screams will once again light up the skies over Disneyland.
The show features:
- Projection effects throughout the park
- Disney Villains including Hades, Ursula, and more
- Halloween-themed music and storytelling
On select nights, guests may also enjoy fireworks accompanying the performance.
Halloween Fun at Disney California Adventure
Disney California Adventure will once again offer some of the most immersive Halloween experiences anywhere in the Disneyland Resort.
Radiator Springs Becomes Radiator Screams
Cars Land transforms into the hilarious and spooky Radiator Screams, where Lightning McQueen and friends celebrate the season in their creative “car-stumes.”
Returning attractions include:
- Luigi’s Honkin’ Haul-O-Ween
- Mater’s Graveyard JamBOOree
The seasonal overlays continue to be among the most popular Halloween offerings at Disney California Adventure.
Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark
Thrills return to Avengers Campus with the seasonal overlay Guardians of the Galaxy – Monsters After Dark.
In this nighttime adventure:
- Groot has been left behind inside the Collector’s Fortress
- The fortress is overrun with monsters
- Guests must join Rocket in a rescue mission before the creatures catch up
The attraction remains one of the most intense Halloween experiences at the Disneyland Resort.
Mickey’s Trick and Treat Returns

Beginning August 18, 2026, the Disney Theater will once again host Mickey’s Trick and Treat.
The interactive show features:
- Mickey Mouse
- Minnie Mouse
- Goofy
- Other Disney pals
The seasonal production temporarily replaces Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live! during Halloween Time.
In the Disney Theater, Guests will find Mickey Mouse and his pals dressing up to celebrate Halloween in “Mickey’s Trick and Treat”! This interactive show will temporarily replace “Disney Jr. Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Live!” beginning August 18, 2026.
World of Color – ONE
“World of Color – ONE” will return to Disney California Adventure for a limited time beginning August 10 through the Halloween season.
Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit Returns to Downtown Disney

A fun activity throughout the resort is Pluto’s Pumpkin Pursuit! Guests can purchase an activity map to aid your search for Disney-themed pumpkins hidden in Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure or Downtown Disney District. Look for them, complete the map and exchange it for a prize.
Halloween Fun at Disneyland Resort Hotels
The Halloween celebration extends beyond the parks and into the Disneyland Resort hotels.

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa
At Storytellers Cafe, guests can enjoy:
- Mickey’s Autumn Adventures Breakfast and Brunch
- Clarabelle’s Enchanted Halloween Dinner
Disneyland Hotel
Guests visiting the Disneyland Hotel can enjoy Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates Halloween. The seasonal character dining experience will offer Halloween fun throughout the day.
Adults 21 and older can also stop by Broken Spell Lounge for a special Halloween-themed cocktail menu.
Oogie Boogie Bash Returns for 2026

Of course, no Disneyland Halloween season would be complete without the return of Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party
The separately ticketed event returns on select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026
The event is expected to once again feature:
- Halloween-themed entertainment throughout Disney California Adventure
- Exclusive entertainment
- Unique character encounters
- Trick-or-treat trails
- Special attraction experiences
