Halloween season is creeping ever closer, and that means the return of one of Disneyland Resort’s most popular special events: Oogie Boogie Bash – A Disney Halloween Party.
Held on select nights at Disney California Adventure, this separately ticketed after-hours event combines trick-or-treating, rare characters, exclusive entertainment, Halloween overlays, and plenty of spooky Disney fun for guests of all ages.

Oogie Boogie Bash 2026 Dates and Times
Oogie Boogie Bash takes place on select nights from August 18 through October 31, 2026
Event hours are 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM
One of the biggest perks is that event tickets also allow guests to enter Disney California Adventure as early as 3:00 PM
That gives party guests up to eight hours in the park before the event concludes.

Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party
New for 2026 is Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion Street Party.
Inspired by Disney’s iconic Haunted Mansion attraction, the experience brings familiar ghostly moments to the streets of Disney California Adventure.
Guests can expect:
- Madame Leota hosting a spirited séance
- Happy Haunts
- Ghostly dancing
- Haunted Mansion-inspired entertainment
The event invites all 999 ghosts, and guests, to join the celebration.
Treat Trails and Character Encounters
One of the biggest highlights of Oogie Boogie Bash remains the beloved Treat Trails
And yes…Adults can absolutely go trick-or-treating too.
Guests can collect candy and treats while encountering Disney Villains and other mischievous characters along the way.
Plus, throughout the evening, guests can also meet Disney characters in Halloween costumes!
Villains Grove Returns
One of the most immersive experiences at Oogie Boogie Bash is Villains Grove
Located inside Redwood Creek Challenge Trail, this walkthrough experience transforms the area into a haunting celebration of Disney Villains.
Guests may encounter the presence of:
- Scar
- Dr. Facilier
- Frollo
And other iconic Disney villains through lighting, projections, soundscapes, and special effects.
Villains Grove continues to be one of the most unique Halloween offerings at Disneyland Resort.
Exclusive Food and Merchandise
Disney has confirmed that exclusive Food, Beverages, and Event merchandise will return for Oogie Boogie Bash in 2026.
Additional menu details are expected to be announced soon.
Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party
Guests looking for an upgraded experience will soon be able to book the Oogie Boogie Bash Dessert Party.
The experience includes:
- Halloween-themed treats
- Specialty beverages
- Preferred viewing for Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake

Beginning August 30, 2026, Disney will once again offer a premium Oogie Boogie Bash VIP Tour.
