Summertime Treats from the Main Street Confectionary

One of my favorite things to do on a Walt Disney World vacation is to bring treats home with me. I do this for multiple reasons, but the main one is to bring home a little taste (haha) of Walt Disney World once I’m back living my every day life. I mean, who says after a hard day, eating a treat you got from the theme parks doesn’t make that day a little bit better, right? So, on my most recent trip, I stocked up on a number of favorites. And one of my favorite places to do so is the Main Street Confectionary at the Magic Kingdom.

I love grabbing treats from the Main Street Confectionary because they tend to have a very large selection, which means I can easily get things for my entire family. (Yes, sometimes I do share). Another reason I like the Main Street Confectionary is that I can mobile order my treats via the My Disney Experience app!
Mobile Order is a fantastic option because while I was standing in line for Space Mountain, my husband and I were going through the list of items on the app and picking out what we wanted. Once I put my order in, I simply had to click the “I’m Here” button and the Cast Members started preparing our order. I usually put my order in for mobile order as I’m walking towards whatever dining establishment I’m going to, that way, the order will be ready when I walk up and into the restaurant or shop. AND best part is that you avoid the crowd of people who have not placed an order through mobile order and are waiting in an exceedingly long line.
The Treats from the Main Street Confectionary
Now, because it’s July, a number of the treats that I brought home had a patriotic slant to them. That’s because at the Main Street Confectionary, they often have specialty treats themed to the holiday that’s nearby.

First, I picked up a Patriotic Mickey Cake Pop. No, they have these types of cake pops throughout the year. It is a chocolate cake pop that coated in chocolate and covered with M&Ms and chocolate drizzle. It’s just dense and moist and delightful. Best of all, it’s kind of on the smaller side, but packs quite a punch, so if you need something sweet, but don’t want to over-do it, it’s a great choice.

I also grabbed a Patriotic “Mickey Cereal” Treat (because I guess they can’t say Rice Krispy). It’s also topped with chocolate, M&Ms, and white chocolate drizzle. This is so sweet, but again a great snack. It’s not overly heavy, but it is quite delicious.

I also picked up the Brownie Pie with M&Ms. This includes so many kinds of M&Ms. It comes with regular milk chocolate ones, as well as caramel ones, oh and peanut M&Ms too! Then it’s drizzled with chocolate. It’s just chef’s kiss! It’s definitely one that I either split with someone or eat half and then save the other half for later. The brownie is pretty dense, but oh so yummy!

One thing you’ll notice is that a lot of these treats come with M&Ms. That’s because Mars, who makes them, are a sponsor of the Main Street Confectionary.

Finally, we picked up the Pecan Praline Caramel Apple. Now, I’m not sure if this is just here in celebration of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but if it is, it needs to become a full time resident on the Main Street Confectionary’s menu. It’s incredible! The flavors meshed together in a wonderful way!
Final Thoughts
Honestly, the Main Street Confectionary is a must stop for me on just about every trip. I enjoy the treats and love how many different options that they have, so no matter what mood I’m in, there’s something great to pick up. But now I want to know what you think.
