Update on Rise of the Resistance at Walt Disney World Offering a Single Rider Line

Rise of the Resistance

Guests who are visiting the Walt Disney World Resort and want to ride Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disney’s Hollywood Studios have another way to do it! The incredibly popular attraction is currently using a single rider line.

The attraction typically sees extremely long waits, sometimes up to two hours or more, so the fact that the attraction is now offering a single rider line is huge. Each ride vehicle fits 8 people, so this should hopefully help to alleviate some of the lengthy line that occurs.

Those wanting to utilize the single rider line will find a Cast Member with a single rider line sign.

Rise of the Resistance

The Single Rider line now no longer skips the pre-shows or shuttle. That includes the first pre-show area that features Rey and BB-8 explaining the mission, as well as a second pre-show area that takes Guests on a ship that is then captured. Now, entire groups of only single riders get their own shuttle and then rejoin the single rider line when they arrive to the Star Destroyer hanger as “prisoners.”

Final Thoughts

Personally, I would absolutely take advantage of the Single Rider line here. I think it’s a great choice, if you ‘re by yourself, especially since you now get to see pretty much the attraction, as you’re meant to.
