WWE and Disney Announce John Cena Classic and Avengers: Doomsday Events at Disney World
WWE is taking over Walt Disney World this December, and it’s bringing some Marvel superheroes along for the ride!
The Walt Disney Company and WWE have announced a special two-day event at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on December 14–15, 2026, featuring the first-ever John Cena Classic and a Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Doomsday-themed edition of Worlds Collide.
The collaboration will bring together WWE Superstars, Marvel-inspired entertainment, exclusive merchandise, and special fan experiences at Walt Disney World Resort.
The John Cena Classic Comes to Walt Disney World December 14
The two-day celebration kicks off on Monday, December 14, 2026, with the debut of The John Cena Classic.
Announced during WWE’s Monday Night Raw, this brand-new event will feature some of WWE’s biggest names from Raw and SmackDown competing alongside rising stars from NXT.
But there’s an interesting twist!
Instead of leaving the night’s biggest honor entirely in the hands of WWE officials, fans will help decide which Superstar deserves the spotlight.
Members of Club WWE, WWE’s exclusive fan membership program, will have the opportunity to vote in real time for their favorite Superstar performance.
The Superstar receiving the top honor will be determined by the WWE Universe.
The John Cena Classic will stream live on Netflix on December 14 as a special edition of Monday Night Raw.
Marvel’s Avengers: Doomsday Takes Over WWE Worlds Collide December 15
The action continues on Tuesday, December 15, 2026, when WWE presents a special Avengers: Doomsday-themed edition of Worlds Collide.
This event will bring together major Superstars from WWE, NXT, and AAA, with a special Marvel Studios connection.
While the event will feature an Avengers: Doomsday theme, Disney and WWE haven’t announced exactly how Marvel characters or elements from the upcoming movie will be incorporated into the show.
WWE World Fan Experience Coming to ESPN Wide World of Sports
The wrestling action won’t be the only thing happening during the two-day takeover.
WWE and Fanatics are also bringing WWE World, an immersive fan experience, to ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex on December 14 and 15.
Fans attending the event can look forward to:
- WWE Superstar photo opportunities
- Autograph opportunities with WWE Superstars
- Exclusive WWE merchandise
- Special Avengers: Doomsday co-branded products
- Collectible WWE title belts featuring Avengers: Doomsday branding
Specific Superstar appearances, schedules, and additional activities have not yet been announced.
