2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Dates and Details Released

It’s time to talk about the fall….because Walt Disney World has released the dates for the 2024 EPCOT Food & Wine Festival! This year’s festival will be a little shorter than it has previously. It start later than it has in a while, with it kicking off on August 29 and running through November 23.
Here’s what you can expect to experience this year:
Global Marketplaces
The main part of the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival is, of course the food and beverages! And there are always so many great options to choose from! For example, there are the Belgian Waffles with Berry Compote and Whipped Cream or Warm Chocolate Ganache at the Belgium Global Marketplace. In Germany, you can enjoy the Apple Strudel with Vanilla Sauce while The Alps will feature Dark Chocolate Fondue with Berries, Pound Cake, and Meringues. (Oh yum!)
Returning this year will also be Emile’s Fromage Montage. This us a fun food stroll where Guests can sample a variety of delicious cheeses. Purchase any five cheese dishes from the official Global Marketplaces list in your Festival Passport and collect a stamp for each dish purchased. Once you’ve collected all five stamps, bring the passport to the specified location for a specialty unique item to enjoy!
EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Merchandise
Guests will be able to take home some fantastic merchandise themed around this year’s Festival, like this SUPER cute Remy cooking timer! (Ok….usually I use my oven timer, but this might have to come home with me.)
Also, Figment, will also be cooking up some fun this fall just in time for the festival. I can’t wait to see what’s in store with our favorite purple dragon!
The Introduction of Communicore Hall
Communicore Hall is debuting on June 10 and the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival will be the first time it debuts as a great place to experience more festival fun! The new space will add exciting fresh elements to the festival.
More EPCOT Food & Wine Festival Fun
Yep! The Eat to the Beat Concert Series will be returning. As evening falls, chart-topping musical acts and Orlando’s top talent will take to the stage as part of the Eat to the Beat Concert Series. Performances will take place nightly in the America Gardens Theatre. Eat to the Beat Dining Packages will also return, ensuring you get a seat for your favorite acts. More details will be released soon!
Also returning for 2024 is Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak scavenger hunt where Guests search to find Remy hidden throughout World Showcase.
Final Thoughts
You know, over the past few years, the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival has become my least favorite festival. With the removal of some of the cooking demonstrations and other events they used to hold, it’s not nearly as unique as it once was. I’m hoping with the introduction of Communicore Hall this year, that we can have some of those things back and it will make the festival unique once again.
