Universal Nights Coming to Epic Universe: New After-Hours Event Announced

Get ready to experience Universal Epic Universe in a whole new way!
Universal Orlando Resort has announced Universal Nights, an all-new limited-capacity after-hours event that will give guests the opportunity to enjoy Epic Universe after the park closes for the day.
The inaugural event will take place on Saturday, October 3 and Saturday, October 17, 2026, offering exclusive nighttime access to the park with attractions, entertainment, character encounters, complimentary snacks, and more.
Here’s everything we know so far.
What Is Universal Nights?
Universal Nights is a separately ticketed, after-hours event at the Universal Orlando Resort designed to let guests experience Epic Universe with a limited-capacity crowd after regular park operations have ended.
During the event, guests will have the opportunity to explore the park under the lights while enjoying many of Epic Universe’s signature experiences with potentially shorter wait times and a unique nighttime atmosphere.
Universal has confirmed the event will include:
- Select attractions
- Exclusive entertainment
- Character interactions
- Complimentary specialty snacks
- Complimentary beverages
- Limited-capacity attendance
Additional event details are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
Universal Nights Dates
The first two Universal Nights events are scheduled for:
- Saturday, October 3, 2026
- Saturday, October 17, 2026
At this time, these are the only announced dates.
Event Times
Universal Nights officially runs from:
9:00 p.m. to Midnight
However, event ticket holders can begin entering Epic Universe as early as 7:00 p.m., allowing guests extra time to enjoy the park before the exclusive after-hours portion of the event begins.

Tickets for Universal Nights will go on sale beginning:
August 13, 2026
Pricing starts at:
$179.99 per person, plus tax
As this is a limited-capacity event, tickets may sell quickly, especially if additional dates are not announced.

Universal Expands Its After-Hours Event Lineup
While Universal Nights is brand new for Epic Universe, it isn’t Universal Orlando Resort’s first venture into exclusive after-hours events.
Universal has successfully launched Volcano Bay Nights, a limited-capacity evening event at Universal Volcano Bay. Guests are able to enjoy many of the water park’s most popular attractions with reduced wait times, along with a live DJ, DreamWorks character meet-and-greets, complimentary snacks, and a Coca-Cola Freestyle souvenir cup with refills included in the ticket price.
The popularity of Volcano Bay Nights even prompted Universal to add additional event dates due to guest demand.
Now, Universal appears to be bringing that same after-hours concept to its newest theme park. While this event will focus on the immersive worlds of Epic Universe rather than a water park setting, both events share a similar formula: limited attendance, nighttime access to attractions, exclusive entertainment, and complimentary food and beverages.
