Universal Orlando Resort Removes Smoking Areas From Inside Parks

There’s a big change at Universal Orlando Resort beginning today, May 15, 2025! That’s because Universal Orlando has made a change to its smoking policy. Instead of having smoking areas inside Universal Studios Florida, Universal Islands of Adventure, and Universal Epic Universe, they will be removed and now the smoking areas will be found outside the parks.
These new smoking areas will be located near park exits.
There is one exception to this and that’s Universal Volcano Bay, which will keep one smoking section inside the park. This will change when TapuTapu is no longer in use which will begin October 1, 2025.
The Walt Disney World Resort made this change to remove smoking areas in the parks, a few years ago, back in 2019.
