Fat One’s Hot Dogs by Joey Fatone Coming to Universal CityWalk

Universal Orlando Resort is getting a tasty new addition—and boy band fans are going to love it. Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice, created by *NSYNC’s Joey Fatone, is coming to Universal CityWalk, bringing bold flavors and a fun new dining experience.
This new concept will replace the longtime Hot Dog Hall of Fame, which is set to close in July.
What Is Fat One’s Hot Dogs?
Fat One’s Hot Dogs & Italian Ice is known for its:
- Creative, flavor-packed hot dogs
- Delicious Italian ice
The menu typically features a variety of unique hot dog combinations, going beyond the basics with bold toppings and inventive flavors.
Replacing Hot Dog Hall of Fame
Fat One’s will take over the space currently occupied by Hot Dog Hall of Fame, which opened in 2017 at Universal CityWalk.
Hot Dog Hall of Fame offered:
- Gourmet hot dogs inspired by iconic ballparks
- A baseball-themed dining experience
- Seating from real former stadiums
While it had a strong concept and solid food, for me, it often felt like a hidden gem that many guests overlooked.
What This Means for Universal CityWalk
The addition of Fat One’s brings:
- A recognizable name tied to pop culture
- A refreshed quick-service dining option
- A more modern, attention-grabbing concept
This change is part of Universal’s ongoing effort to refresh and evolve the CityWalk dining lineup. This includes additions like Luke Combs’ Category 10, as well as the addition of Five Guys and the recent reopening of the Universal Legacy Store.
When Will Fat One’s Open?
While an exact opening date hasn’t been announced, Hot Dog Hall of Fame will close in July, and construction will begin shortly after.
