Details About Pixar Fest at Disneyland Resort

Pixar Fest is coming soon for the Disneyland Resort! It will take place from April 26-August 4, 2024. Pixar Fest is a celebration of the stories of Pixar films and showcases friendship with new offerings, returning ones, and enhancements.
New ‘Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!’ Parade
With the updated “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” parade, colorful floats will wind their way through Disney California Adventure. The parade will take place twice a day and it will include more than two dozen Pixar characters, like Red Panda Mei and her friends rocking out to 4*Town; Joe Gardner and 22 from “Soul”; Luca, Alberto and Giulia from “Luca”; and more. The grand finale will feature Mr. Incredible and Elastigirl from “The Incredibles,” Miguel from “Coco,” Mike and Sulley from “Monsters, Inc.,” and Woody, Jessie and Buzz Lightyear from “Toy Story.”
‘Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular’
Returning for the Pixar Fest celebrations at Disneyland Park will be the fireworks show, “Together Forever – A Pixar Nighttime Spectacular”. This show celebrates the heart of Pixar storytelling and will take you on an emotional journey of friendship with Pixar pals. In addition to iconic moments from the original version, like Miguel strumming his guitar and Carl and Ellie’s house floating above Sleeping Beauty Castle, you’ll also see new scenes added featuring characters and moments from Pixar’s “Onward,” “Soul,” “Luca,” “Turning Red” and “Elemental” brought to life like never before.
This show will include vivid projections, colorful lasers and memorable music. It can be enjoyed from multiple locations throughout Disneyland, including the Rivers of America, the façade of “it’s a small world” and Main Street, U.S.A. And on most evenings, fireworks will also take place during the show.
Club Pixar at the Hollywood Backlot
During the day at the Hollywood Backlot, you can snap a photo in front of Pixar-themed backdrops, play games and maybe even meet a character. When day turns to night, Club Pixar will take over the area for a nighttime party. Guests will be able to enjoy an interactive DJ dance party, live performances, exciting games, photo opportunities, themed food, specially crafted beverages and more.
Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Fantasyland Theatre
Throughout the day, the whole family can dance and play with favorite pals at the Pixar Pals Playtime Party at Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland Park. This will include a high-energy show, interactive games, photo locations and activities inspired by Pixar feature films. You can even catch Pixar shorts on the big screen.
Pixar-Themed Foods and Marketplaces
This festival will also include lots of new food and beverages that you’ll want to make sure you pick up that are inspired by Pixar stories! More details will be coming soon.
Encounters with Pixar Characters
At various locations in both parks, you’ll be able to meet many characters from Pixar films, including friends from “Inside Out” and “The Incredibles.” You may also encounter Ember and Wade from “Elemental,” who will be making their Disneyland Resort debut for Pixar Fest!
And More Pixar Fest Fun
Yes, there will also be new novelties arriving just for Pixar Fest! Like the Pizza Planet Popcorn Bucket. The festival will also include plenty of other new merchandise options to celebrate both the event and favorite Pixar characters.
There will also be lots of decorations all around the Disneyland Resort. Like brightly-colored banners, sculptures that double as photo locations and more. In the esplanade between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, there will be an over 25-foot-tall sculpture. The sculpture will celebrate friendship and highlighting the iconic Pixar Ball. And in Disney California Adventure, you’ll even be able to use your MagicBand+ to interact with a Pixar-themed installation.
Then at the Downtown Disney District, there will be decorations, merchandise, and Pixar-inspired menu items at select dining locations.
