New Look at Parkside Market and More for the Downtown Disney District
Disney has shared a first look at the new Parkside Market, the newest innovation for the Downtown Disney District in Disneyland Resort.
The Parkside Market will feature four diverse culinary concepts from Levy Restaurants, all under one roof.
Parkside Market will bring Seoul Sister, a fast-casual modern eatery that will serve a Korean-inspired menu based on bibimbap (Korean rice bowls); Sip & Sonder serving lattes, fresh treats, frozen drinks and Caribbean-inspired bites; GG’s Chicken Shop with chicken sandwiches, salads, and classic dinner table sides; and a second story bar with great views of the district and signature craft cocktails and mocktails that will be able to be paired with delicious appetizers.
Earl of Sandwich
In addition, another dining establishment is going to have an all-new, two-story location in Downtown Disney District. Earl of Sandwich will offer a quick-service sandwich shop on the ground level and then there will be a table-service gastropub upstairs. More details will be released in the future.
In the meantime, a temporary Earl of Sandwich pop-up opening will be opening soon near Star Wars Trading Post.
Earl of Sandwich will be relocated from its temporary location on the east end of the district near the Esplanade to make way for the construction of an all-new Porto’s Bakery.
More News About Paseo and Céntrico, and the New Tiendita
Paseo and Céntrico are two new restaurants that will be opening later this spring. In addition, a new restaurant has just been announced, Tiendita! Menus will be created by Michelin-starred Chef Carlos Gaytán. Paseo will be the upstairs dining room and Céntrico will be on the first floor and will feature a courtyard bar and restaurant. Both will offer upscale Mexican cuisine and tequila-based cocktails.
Next door, Tiendita will offer Chef Gaytán’s Mexican heritage flavors on-the-go, with quick-service Mexican street-food options.
Are you excited about these new dining options coming to the Downtown Disney District? They all sound fantastic to me! The more dining, the better! Let me know your thoughts in the comments!
