Costumes Revealed for Haunted Mansion Parlor and Periscope Pub on the Disney Treasure

The Disney Treasure is getting closer and closer to being a reality! It recently sailed out on its own even! And today, at the kick off for the D23 Expo, Disney shared the costumes for the crew members of two of the bars on the ship, the Haunted Mansion Parlor and the Periscope Pub.
Senior Costume Designer with Disney Live Entertainment, Josh Winchester created the designs and he set out to strike a balance between honoring the original park attractions and film that inspired these venues and customizing each look to be uniquely Disney Cruise Line.
The Haunted Mansion Parlor costumes will feature that striking green mixed with purple, reminiscent of the attraction itself. (These will likely be the same costumes worn by Crew Members onboard the Disney Destiny‘s version of the Haunted Mansion Parlor too.)
Meanwhile, the costumes for Periscope Pub will be an elevated take on the crew uniforms featured in Walt Disney’s 1954 film, “20,000 Leagues Under the Sea.” Sharp nautical navy vests will include faux leather accents on the shoulders, neckline and pocket. The costumes will also tie back to the celebrated 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage attraction with a custom pin inspired by one once worn by cast members in Magic Kingdom.
