Walt Disney World Easter Displays Returning

It’s hoppening! The fantastic Easter displays will be returning to the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Let me tell you, what the culinary teams can do with these incredible Easter eggs is simply egg-citing!

Guests will be able to catch a glimpse of these artistic works at Disney’s Grand Floridian, Disney’s Contemporary, and Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts.

Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Let’s start with the display at Disney’s Grand Floridian. This is the original display and it begins on March 3. Each egg that is displayed has a unique theme and story all created by the incredible culinary cast members. Past creations have been themed around Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, “Beauty and the Beast,” and Disney snacks.

And this year, Guests visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will want to stop and pick up a treat at the Grand Cottage. These are festive treats that will be available from March 3 through April 1.

Here’s what you can pick up:

• Bunny Pop Flower Pot: Chocolate flower pot filled with jelly beans and three chocolate bunny pops (New)
• Fruity Cereal Mickey Pop: Mickey-shaped fruity cereal crisped treat
• The Easter Treat Box: Dark chocolate filled bunny, carrot blondie pop, marshmallow pop, carrot cake chocolate bark, confetti pop, and meringue nests
• Easter Marshmallow Pop: Three large marshmallows dipped in a yellow chocolate coating topped with Easter quins
• Bunny Burrow Dirt Cup: Layers of chocolate cake, chocolate buttercream, and cookies ‘n cream pieces with springtime décor (Plant-based)
• The Grand Egg: White chocolate egg filled with jelly beans sprayed in spring colors

The Bunny Burrow Dirt Cup and Fruity Cereal Pop will both also be available over at Gasparilla Island Grill.

Disney’s Contemporary Resort

You’ll also want to make a stop at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Here you’ll find another egg-ceptional display. This year’s eggs will be on display beginning March 3. Past eggs included themes of “Elemental” and “Hercules.”

Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resorts

Finally, make the trip over to Disney’s Yacht and Beach Club Resorts. This year, Disney’s Yacht Club Resort will feature a brand-new Moana-inspired display. See some of the beloved characters and scenes from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film brought to life in egg form. You can catch this new creation starting March 3 in the lobby of the resort.

Then, over at Disney’s Beach Club Resort will be a display inspired by the EPCOT Flower & Garden Festival. The culinary team has crafted miniature versions of some of the iconic topiaries available at the festival. This display, once again, starts on March 3.

Final Thoughts

I love that Disney does this for the Easter holidays. It started as something so simple at Disney’s Grand Floridian and I love that it’s now expanded to other resorts.
