Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift Is Racing Into Universal Studios Florida in 2027

Are you ready to get fast and furious on a brand-new roller coaster at Universal Studios Florida? Universal Orlando Resort is revving up its next major thrill with Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift, an all-new outdoor roller coaster set to debut in 2027.
This high-speed attraction will bring the adrenaline-pumping world of Universal Pictures’ Fast & Furious franchise to life in a bold new way.
Replacing Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit
Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift will take over the footprint of the former Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit. This coaster puts guests directly in the driver’s seat, delivering a ride experience inspired by the high-speed stunts and precision driving seen throughout the Fast & Furious films.
Riders will experience the exhilarating sensation of 360-degree drifting as they speed through incredible manuevers including a 170-foot vertical “spike” that will send Guests nearly 17 stories in the air over the outskirts of Universal CityWalk.
A Growing Fast & Furious Presence
Universal Studios Hollywood will also debut its own version of Fast & Furious: Hollywood Drift later this year, though each attraction is expected to offer a unique experience tailored to its park.
Saying Goodbye to Fast & Furious – Supercharged
As Universal Studios Florida prepares for this new attraction, Fast & Furious – Supercharged will permanently close in 2027.
