The Holidays at The Disneyland Resort Begins November 15
Get ready for the holidays at the Disneyland Resort, which will kick off on November 15, 2024 and it will run through January 6, 2025.
New Holiday Experiences Debut in 2024
This holiday season, Santa Claus and select characters will be found at Fantasyland Theatre at Disneyland. This space which will also feature cookie decorating, craft making, storytelling and holiday music throughout the day.
If you’ll be in Disney California Adventure, you’ll find Santa at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail. He’ll also be found in Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel through December 24.
This year, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse will debut new looks in Disneyland. Characters will also be located on Buena Vista Street in Disney California Adventure.
Want to participate in a fun scavenger hunt? From November 22, 2024-January 1, 2025, the Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail pursuit will debut at Downtown Disney District. Guests can search for special ornaments hidden among the holiday trees and lights adorning the district. Guests will be able to purchase a map at select shopping locations in Downtown Disney and the Hotels of the Disneyland Resort and redeem it for a collectible holiday keepsake at World of Disney or Disney’s Pin Traders.
Beginning November 19, “Goofy’s Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays!” will take place at Disneyland Hotel. Also, for the first time, Mickey’s Holiday Pajama Party breakfast and brunch at Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. This dining offerings will serve holiday-themed meals, seasonal décor and select characters donning new pajamas.
Holiday Entertainment
Each and every night, guests will be able to watch “snow” fall from above and the fireworks show, “Believe…In Holiday Magic” nighttime spectacular at Disneyland! There will also be “snowfall” along the Rivers of America, outside of “it’s a small world” Holiday, on Main Street, U.S.A., and the west end of Downtown Disney.
In Disney California Adventure, hundreds of fountains dance to festive music and shimmering “snowflakes” during the nighttime spectacular “World of Color – Season of Light”.
Holiday Attractions
Select attractions will receive seasonal overlays, including “it’s a small world” Holiday and at Haunted Mansion Holiday in Disneyland Park. Then in Radiator Springs experience Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree in Cars Land at Disney California Adventure.
Festival of Holidays and Disney ¡Viva Navidad!
The Disney Festival of Holidays returns to Disney California Adventure, highlighting a wide range of food and beverages, a variety of live entertainment and more.
There will be new and returning menu items at the Festive Food Marketplaces and at select dining locations in Disney California Adventure. Guests may choose to purchase a scannable Sip and Savor Pass in either a four-coupon or eight-coupon version. These can be redeemed for select food and nonalcoholic beverages from participating locations.
There will be a slate of new cultural performance groups, along with returning favorites, who will perform music and dance from a range of genres. Plus, Guests will be able to enjoy iconic Disney characters during the “Mickey’s Happy Holidays” cavalcade.
Paradise Gardens at Disney California Adventure will be home to the returning Disney ¡Viva Navidad! This event will include daily crafts, live music, menu items and décor inspired by Latin American traditions. Guests may also encounter Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, The Three Caballeros and Mirabel from “Encanto.”
The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party will perform on select days, featuring The Three Caballeros. The show will also feature Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, and more. On days when the Disney ¡Viva Navidad! street party is not scheduled, guests may encounter Mirabel from Encanto” or Miguel from“Coco” in festive street performances that celebrate the holidays and the gift of familia, outside the entrance to Paradise Gardens Park.
