But that’s not all! Here’s some more great fun you can look forward to!
World of Color Happiness
At Disney California Adventure, an all-new nighttime spectacular will debut called “World of Color Happiness!” The show draws inspiration from Walt Disney’s words from the opening day park dedication: “To all who come to this happy place…welcome!”
This nighttime spectacular will explore “happy” through a kaleidoscope of emotions, hosted by Joy and the other Emotions from the Pixar films, “Inside Out” and “Inside Out 2.” Along the way, the Emotions manifest music and moments from favorite Walt Disney Animation Studios’ and Pixar Animation Studios’ stories, including “Turning Red,” “A Goofy Movie,” “Tangled,” “The Lion King” and so many more.
Also in the evenings, the exterior of Carthay Circle Restaurant will feature lights, music and projection effects to invite Guests to celebrate happy.
Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration
Get ready for the return of the parade “Better Together: A Pixar Pals Celebration!” at Disney California Adventure.
This daytime parade features nearly 30 favorite characters from Pixar films, including “Luca,” “Turning Red,” “Up,” and more.
Paint the Night
Speaking of returning parades, over at Disneyland Park, the “Paint the Night” parade will return. It will feature stunning color, vibrant floats and more than a million brilliant LED lights.
During Paint the Night, Mickey Mouse uses his imagination to harness the power of Tinker Bell’s pixie dust and “Paint the Night” in Disney dreams. Characters and stories from films such as “Monsters, Inc.,” “Cars,” “Toy Story”, “The Little Mermaid,” “Beauty and the Beast,” and more are featured.
Wondrous Journeys Nighttime Spectacular
The nighttime spectacular “Wondrous Journeys” will also return to Disneyland once again, enhanced with fireworks on select nights. The show celebrates the legacy of Walt Disney Animation Studios classics. Throughout the show, you’ll experience moments from stories like “Hercules,” “The Princess and the Frog,” “Peter Pan,” “Frozen,” “Big Hero 6,” “Moana,” “Encanto” and more.
The show features state-of-the-art projection effects. These transform Main Street, U.S.A., Sleeping Beauty Castle, “it’s a small world” and the Rivers of America.
Other 70th Anniversary Festivities
Disneyland will also debut a new character cavalcade. There will also be a new projection show on the facade of “it’s a small world.”
Oh and Guests will hear an upbeat new theme song called “Celebrate Happy.”
