A brand-new, first-of-its-kind family dining experience is coming exclusively to the Disney Destiny: Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King.
This unique dinner show brings the beloved songs and classic moments from Disney’s The Lion King to sea in a totally new way, blending storytelling, music, and immersive theming with a delicious meal.
About Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King
Pride Lands: Feast of The Lion King transports Guests into the African savannah from the moment they walk down the entry hall and into the main dining room.
The dining area is lined, with depictions of animals and nature realized through lighting and special effects, and. There’s even a wall of magical windows displays a rotation of vibrant sunrises and sunsets throughout the meal. Oh and at the center of the dining establishment are tiered risers that mimic the look of African drums and serve as the stage for a lineup of live entertainment.
The Show
During your meal, an ensemble of live musicians and storytellers invite you on a musical journey through the soundtrack from The Lion King, retelling Simba’s rise from cub to king. Throughout your meal, the band and performers revisit songs using authentic African instruments and theatrical props to represent the story and characters.
Performances will include:
- Productions of “Circle of Life” and “Hakuna Matata.”
- A mash-up of “I Just Can’t Wait to Be King” and “Be Prepared”
- An instrumental version of “Can You Feel the Love Tonight” paired with a beautiful interpretive dance
- A moving rendition of “He Lives in You” from the sequel film and Broadway show
