Disney Cruise Line Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 Itineraries: New York Returns, New Ports & More

Disney Cruise Line Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 Itineraries: New York, New Ports and More
Ready to start planning another Disney Cruise Line vacation? Disney has revealed its Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries, and there are some exciting changes on the horizon!
The new lineup includes the highly anticipated return of Disney Cruise Line to New York City with the Disney Wish sailing from New York for the first time, new ports of call, Panama Canal cruises, expanded Florida departures, and plenty of opportunities to visit The Bahamas, Caribbean and Mexico.
Guests will also find seasonal Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime cruises, while the Disney Adventure continues its sailings from Singapore.
Early bookings for select Castaway Club members begin August 31, 2026, followed by general bookings on September 8, 2026.
Here’s everything we know about the newly announced Disney Cruise Line Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 itineraries.
Disney Cruise Line Returns to New York City
One of the biggest announcements is the return of Disney Cruise Line to New York City!
After completing its inaugural European season, the Disney Wish will arrive in New York in late September 2027 for seven special voyages.
This marks the first time the Disney Wish will sail from New York City.
The ship will offer four- to seven-night cruises featuring destinations such as Bermuda, New England and Canada’s Atlantic coast.
Five of the cruises will visit Bermuda, giving guests the opportunity to trade the skyscrapers of New York for the island’s famous pink-sand beaches. Three of those sailings will feature an additional day in Bermuda, allowing more time to explore the destination.
Disney Cruise Line will also return to New England and Canada from New York for the first time in nearly four years, perfectly timed for the fall season.
More Disney Cruises From San Juan
Disney Cruise Line is also expanding its presence in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
The Disney Wish and Disney Fantasy will both offer cruises from San Juan during Fall 2027 and Spring 2028.
Guests can choose from five- to seven-night Southern and Eastern Caribbean cruises, offering even more opportunities to explore tropical destinations throughout the region.
Disney Magic Will Sail Through the Panama Canal
The Disney Magic has two special repositioning cruises planned for the new season.
The ship will sail through the Panama Canal in both Fall 2027 and Spring 2028, with each voyage lasting 14 nights.
The eastbound Panama Canal cruise will visit Fuerte Amador in Panama City, Panama, while the westbound voyage will stop at Colon, Panama.
These longer repositioning cruises offer plenty of time to enjoy Disney entertainment, dining and activities onboard while also visiting destinations not typically found on shorter Disney Cruise Line itineraries.
Disney Destiny Moves to Port Canaveral
There are also big changes coming to the Disney Destiny.
For the first time, the Disney Destiny will homeport at Port Canaveral beginning in Fall 2027.
From Port Canaveral, the ship will offer three- to seven-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
Before making the move, the Disney Destiny will begin the season in Fort Lauderdale, where it will continue offering three- to five-night Bahamas and Western Caribbean itineraries.
Guests will, of course, still be able to experience the ship’s heroes-and-villains-inspired dining and entertainment throughout these voyages.
Disney Wish Returns to Port Canaveral

After completing its special New York City and San Juan itineraries, the Disney Wish will return to Port Canaveral.
The ship will resume its familiar three- and four-night Bahamian cruises, including visits to Disney’s two island destinations:
- Disney Castaway Cay
- Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point
That means guests will have plenty of opportunities to sail aboard the Disney Wish even after its limited New York season ends.
Disney Treasure Continues Seven-Night Caribbean Cruises
The Disney Treasure will continue offering its popular seven-night Eastern and Western Caribbean cruises.
There will also be two special itineraries.
One is an eight-night Eastern Caribbean cruise, while another is a six-night Bahamian sailing featuring two visits to Disney Castaway Cay.
Disney Dream Will Sail From Port Canaveral and Fort Lauderdale
The Disney Dream will begin with three- and four-night cruises to The Bahamas from Port Canaveral.
Then, in November 2027, the ship will reposition to Fort Lauderdale for three- to five-night Bahamian cruises.
One special six-night sailing will include two stops at Disney Castaway Cay, giving guests twice the opportunity to enjoy the island’s beaches, recreation and Disney touches.
Disney Fantasy Adds Its First Bermuda Cruise

The Disney Fantasy will have a particularly varied schedule.
From September through November 2027, the ship will sail from Port Canaveral on four- and five-night cruises to The Bahamas and Western Caribbean.
It will also offer four- to seven-night sailings from Fort Lauderdale to The Bahamas and Eastern Caribbean.
But there’s a big first coming for the ship.
The Disney Fantasy will sail to Bermuda for the first time!
The special eight-night Bermuda cruise from Fort Lauderdale will also visit both of Disney Cruise Line’s Bahamian island destinations.
Disney Magic and Disney Wonder Sail From San Diego
Disney Cruise Line will double its presence in San Diego during the beginning of the Fall 2027 season.
Both the Disney Magic and Disney Wonder will sail from Southern California through early November 2027, offering three- to seven-night Baja and Mexican Riviera cruises.
The Disney Wonder will continue sailing from San Diego throughout the Fall 2027 and Spring 2028 seasons, with itineraries visiting destinations including:
- Ensenada, Mexico
- Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
- Catalina Island, California
Disney Magic Returns to Galveston

Following its eastbound Panama Canal cruise, the Disney Magic will return to Galveston, Texas.
The ship will spend the season offering four- to seven-night cruises from Galveston.
Select seven-night Bahamian cruises will feature visits to both Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point and Disney Castaway Cay.
Disney Adventure Continues Sailing From Singapore
The Disney Adventure will continue its Southeast Asia sailings from Singapore.
New three- and four-night itineraries will be available from September through December 2027, combining days at sea with Disney entertainment, dining and activities.
There’s also a new destination coming to select earlier sailings.
From December 31, 2026, through May 2027, select Disney Adventure cruises will visit Langkawi, Malaysia for the first time.
Guests will have the opportunity to explore the destination’s rainforests and scenic coastline in addition to enjoying everything available aboard the Disney Adventure.
Halloween on the High Seas Returns in 2027

Disney Cruise Line’s spooky season will return in September 2027 with another year of Halloween on the High Seas.
Select ships and itineraries will feature Halloween experiences that may include:
- Disney characters dressed in Halloween costumes
- Special entertainment
- Halloween deck parties
- Trick-or-treating at sea
- Seasonal decorations and activities
These themed cruises offer Disney fans a completely different way to celebrate Halloween away from the theme parks.
Very Merrytime Cruises Return for Christmas 2027
Following Halloween, Disney Cruise Line will transform select ships for the holidays with the return of Very Merrytime cruises in November and December 2027.
Guests can expect ships filled with festive decorations and special seasonal experiences, including:
- Christmas tree lighting
- Holiday deck parties
- Seasonal treats
- Special entertainment
- Visits from Santa Claus
For families who love Disney at Christmas, these seasonal cruises combine a traditional Disney Cruise Line vacation with plenty of holiday magic.
