This fall, when the Disney Dream arrives in Fort Lauderdale, it will debut some brand new upgrades! These will include things like a an updated Oceaneer Club, a brand-new funnel suite, a new concierge lounge and revamped spa. Let’s take a look at what this Disney Cruise Line ship will be adding!

Updates to the Oceaneer Club

The Disney Dream will see a new lab, courtesy of the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (otherwise known as WEB) located in the Oceaneer Club. At Marvel WEB Workshop, young recruits will be able to test new suit prototypes for Spider-Man and other heroes. They will also be able to conduct training simulations using WEB technology. Oh and their favorite Avengers? Yeah….they may pop in too from time to time.

Updates to Edge

Edge, the tween club for guests ages 11-14, will see a move. Edge will soon be found on Deck 5 and debut exciting new features. These will include access to an outdoor deck with a ball pit and recreational games, all exclusively for those visiting Edge and Vibe to use. Edge will also include a club lounge and dance floor.

A New Funnel Suite

Since Edge is moving, Disney is going to be able to create a brand new Dream Tower Suite in the forward funnel. This suite will pay homage to Sorcerer Mickey. It will be a two-story that will include features that reflect the Disney Dream’s art deco motif, including celestial-inspired surroundings, carpet design inspired by flowing water, and a chandelier reminiscent of the Sorcerer Apprentice’s famous control of the waves.

An Updated Concierge Lounge

Concierge guests will experience an expanded Concierge Lounge that is now inspired by the film, “Hercules.” The ethereal lounge will have light, airy details and rich colors inspired by Mount Olympus, with hints of bright gold evoking the gates to the kingdom of the gods.

Additional Updates

The spa area will see a refreshed check-in area and will expand to include new treatment rooms.

Finally, joining the quick service dining options on Deck 11 will be a guest favorite cantina, offering a delicious selection of tacos, burritos and bowls!
