The Garden View Lounge Opens With New Tea Experience in 2026 at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort

Get ready! It’s almost tea time again! The Garden View Lounge will be returning in early 2026, welcoming Guests back to one of the most elegant and beloved spaces at the resort! When it reopens, the space will include a refreshed look that perfectly complements the updated new lobby design.
When it reopens after its lengthy closure, the space will offer a new tea experience that will feature whimsical Disney touches for guests of all ages.
While full details haven’t been revealed yet, this updated experience, which was formerly known as The Grand Floridian Tea Room, is expected to combine the sophistication of the Grand Floridian with the magic and charm Disney fans love.
A Grand Update for A Grand Resort
For those who have missed it, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort’s lobby area has been undergoing a massive update! Guests who have visited the resort lately have found that the main lobby, staircase and front desk been refreshed. There’s new carpeting featuring hand-drawn florals and there’s updated furnishings too.
In addition, The Perch, the new bar located in the lobby of Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort is opening November 10, 2025. More details are here:
