Disney Vacation Club’s Newest Option The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort to Open July 1
The newest Disney Vacation Club resort are expected to officially open on July 1, 2024 called The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort. The first loop will open on July 1 with a second loop opening later in the month, and more throughout the year.
The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will invite Guests to find tranquility in a private, one-bedroom cabin. Each cabin at the Walt Disney World Resort will sleep 6 and features the comforts of home. And if you have a dog, like I do, they can come stay too!
Guests who stay at The Cabins at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort will find a spacious living area that includes a dining nook and fully equipped kitchen. There will be a refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and full-size oven/range.
Guests will find convertible seating and sleeping area that is located opposite the kitchen. This area includes a 65-inch TV and a comfortable sofa. When it’s time to go to bed, simply fold down the queen-size Inova bed from the wall, for added sleeping space.
Off the kitchen there’s a vanity area that’s can be found outside the entrance to the bathroom. The bathroom will also include a shower and an additional vanity inside.
There will also be a separate bedroom that will include a queen-size bed, twin-size bunk beds, a 55-inch TV, a closet and a nightstand.
Outside, Guests will find their own personal patio deck, where you can use the charcoal grill and dine al fresco.

- February 1: Sales open to existing DVC members
- February 15: Existing DVC members who added posts at The Cabins can begin booking
- February 27: New sales at The Cabins open to the general public
- March 12: New DVC members at The Cabins can begin booking
- April 23: All DVC members can book The Cabins
