The Walt Disney World Resort has announced that the fantastic exhibit Portraits of Courage: A Commander in Chief’s Tribute to America’s Warriors will remain on display at EPCOT through July 4, 2026.

Located inside The American Adventure Pavilion, this moving collection has touched the hearts of guests since it debuted on June 9, 2024. Now, visitors will have even more time to experience this meaningful tribute to American service members and veterans.

About Portraits of Courage

Created by former U.S. President George W. Bush, Portraits of Courage features more than 60 vibrant oil portraits honoring service members and veterans who have served the United States with distinction since September 11, 2001.

Following his presidency, Bush began painting as a personal project. He soon focused his artistic efforts on veterans he came to know through the George W. Bush Institute’s Military Service Initiative. The result is a deeply personal and respectful tribute to men and women who have demonstrated extraordinary courage and resilience.

Where to Find the Exhibit at EPCOT

Guests can view Portraits of Courage inside The American Adventure Pavilion in World Showcase at EPCOT. The pavilion serves as a fitting backdrop for the exhibit, celebrating the spirit, history, and resilience of the United States.

Since opening in 2024, guests from around the world have taken time during their EPCOT visit to reflect on the powerful stories showcased in this collection.

A Special Tribute During America’s 250th Anniversary Celebration

The extension of Portraits of Courage through July 4, 2026 coincides with the celebration of America’s 250th Anniversary.

In addition to Portraits of Courage remaining at EPCOT, guests will also be able to experience the debut of Soarin’ Across America. This updated attraction will take riders on a flight over iconic American landscapes and landmarks.

Final Thoughts

With the exhibit now extended through Independence Day 2026, even more visitors will have the opportunity to experience this moving tribute.

Be sure to stop by The American Adventure Pavilion on your next trip and take time to reflect on the bravery, resilience, and continued service of America’s warriors.
