Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae Bucket: Disney Dining Review

A few months back, we learned that the Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae was coming to Disney’s Pop Century Resort. And…well, not gonna lie…but I knew that specialty bucket had to come home with me.
So, on my most recent trip, my husband and I were taking the Disney Skyliner and we were coming back to the hub at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort from Disney’s Hollywood Studios to head back to EPCOT. Which is when I remembered….there was a very easy way to get to Pop Century and I could make the dream of getting the Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae a reality! So, we hopped on the Disney Skyliner path towards the value resort.
The Atmosphere at Everything Pop

Once we arrived at Disney’s Pop Century, we headed straight to Everything Pop, which is a combination shopping and dining location. This is one of my favorite places in all of Walt Disney World. Maybe it’s nostalgia, but I love the shop and think they have some of the best merchandise, plus the dining options here are always unique.
They just updated both the shop and the dining area and honestly, it looks great. I like the bold colors and designs. There are windows for the different dining options, like pizza, main entrees, sandwiches, etc. There’s also a grab and go area. Then Guests head to the cash registers to pay.
But, I was on a mission, so I made my way over to the ice cream counter and there it was….like a beacon calling me….the Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae Bucket. Here it was and it was going to be mine!
About The Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae Bucket
Guests looking to purchase the Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae Bucket only have one option. (So, this isn’t a situation where you get to pick what your sundae looks like – minus the choice of which kind of soft serve you get.)
The sundae includes either vanilla or chocolate soft serve, chocolate sauce, whipped cream, rainbow sprinkles, cherries, and Snickers Bar pieces. It costs $27.79 currently.
This sundae, is definitely a sharable sundae. There were two of us eating it and while we finished it, it was a lot! But, it was also delicious! The only part I found unusual was the addition of Snickers. Not because it tasted off, but just the rest of the sundae seemed so traditional, so the Snickers was just unexpected.
And as for the bucket, well it was just as cute as I thought it would be. The sundae goes in the top – there’s actually a spot that opens in the top for the plastic container the sundae is held in. There’s also a fun spoon that’s in the shape of an ice cream cone. And let’s not forget how cute Mickey and friends are as they adorn the bucket!

Final Thoughts
I honestly regret nothing from buying the Mickey’s Ice Cream Truck Sundae Bucket! The ice cream was delicious and I have an adorable souvenir. Do I need the bucket? Goodness no….but I’m still darn glad I brought it home with me! And that’s all that matters.
