GEO-82 and Beak and Barrel May Soon Offer Walk-Up Lists Through the My Disney Experience App

Scoring a reservation at two of Walt Disney World‘s newest lounges hasn’t been easy, but that may soon change.
It appears Walt Disney World is preparing to offer walk-up lists for both GEO-82 at EPCOT and The Beak and Barrel at Magic Kingdom through the My Disney Experience app, giving guests another opportunity to experience these highly sought-after locations without securing an Advance Dining Reservation months in advance.
While the feature doesn’t appear to be fully active just yet, its presence in the app suggests that Disney is getting ready to launch another option for guests hoping to visit these immersive lounges.

How the Walk-Up List Would Work
Once the feature officially launches, guests visiting either lounge should be able to:
- Open the My Disney Experience app.
- Search for GEO-82 or Beak and Barrel.
- Tap “Join Walk-Up List.”
- Add their party to the same-day waitlist.
Like other Disney restaurants offering walk-up availability, seating will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis, with wait times depending on current demand and available seating.
Joining the walk-up list won’t guarantee immediate access, but it provides another opportunity for guests who were unable to secure a reservation in advance or decide to visit at the last minute.
At the moment, anyone tapping the walk-up option is greeted with a message indicating the search is unable to load, suggesting the feature has not yet been activated.

About Beak and Barrel
Located in Adventureland at Magic Kingdom, Beak and Barrel offers an immersive pirate-themed experience unlike anything else in the park.
The lounge accommodates across three uniquely themed spaces:
- The Mess
- The Mapmaker’s Room
- The Captain’s Quarters
Each reservation is limited to 45 minutes, allowing more guests to experience the venue throughout the day while still maintaining the highly themed atmosphere.
Even with the time limit, reservations have remained in high demand, making a same-day walk-up option especially welcome.
Why This Is Great News for Disney Guests
Advance Dining Reservations at both lounges can disappear almost immediately after becoming available, leaving many guests without a chance to visit.
Adding a walk-up list would provide several benefits, including:
- A second opportunity if reservations are unavailable.
- Greater flexibility for spontaneous park days.
- A chance to fill unexpected openings throughout the day.
- An easier way to experience two of Walt Disney World’s newest dining destinations.
For many guests, especially locals and Annual Passholders, the ability to join a same-day queue could make visiting these lounges significantly more convenient.
What to Know Right Now
Although the walk-up list option has appeared within the My Disney Experience app, it does not appear to be live just yet. If you attempt to join the queue, you’ll currently receive an error stating that the search cannot be loaded.
Still, its appearance is a strong indication that Disney is preparing to roll out the feature in the near future.
If and when it officially launches, it could become one of the easiest ways to experience both GEO-82 and Beak and Barrel without the stress of chasing an Advance Dining Reservation.
