Island Tower Booking Dates Released

If you’ve been to Walt Disney World lately and looked at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, you’ll have seen construction going on for the new Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows which is a 10 story tower that overlooks the Seven Seas Lagoon.

Well, we now know that the new addition will officially open on December 17! For those looking to purchase Disney Vacation Club Membership here, sales will open to current members on October 1 and the public on October 29. 

Dates You Need to Know

Here are the dates you need to know about for the Island Tower:

• October 1: Sales begin for current Disney Vacation Club Members
• October 15: Current and Add-on Disney Vacation Club Members at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can book with vacation points.
• October 29: Sales open to the general public
• November 5: New members at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows can book with vacation points.
• November 19: All members can book with vacation points.
• December 17: Grand Opening of Island Tower at Disney’s Polynesian Villas & Bungalows.

Island Tower is going to be a beautiful expansion that will embrace the resort’s theming and immerse guests in the adventurous spirit of the South Pacific islands. And there is going to be a brand new restaurant called Wailulu Bar & Grill, plus little ones will be able to splash around at the Moana Splash Pad! Oh and members and Guests staying at the Island Tower addition will enjoy exclusive access to four tropical terrace gardens.
