Disney’s Blizzard Beach Now Open For Season

Disney’s Blizzard Beach Water Park is now open! The water park themed after a ski resort on the meltdown has opened for the season and it’s the perfect place to visit to get your splish splash fun on!

Guests can do things like take the plunge 12 stories almost straight down on Summit Plummet. There’s also family thrills at Teamboat Springs, a family raft ride!

Do you have little ones? You’ll love the newer additions from “Frozen” at Tikes Peak! There are wading pools featuring Olaf and his Snowgie pals, and pop-up water jets at Anna and Elsa’s igloo fortress!

The water park also opens with new menu items to indulge in. At the Warming Hut, Guests will find lunch and dinner options, including the new barbecue pork sandwich with bacon and fried onion straws on a brioche bun. Sweet treats can be found at at Icee Expeditions with a new apple pie churro or a praline sundae. And at Lotta Watta, you’ll want to pick up the peppermint shake which features a vanilla and chocolate milkshake with peppermint beverage syrup whipped cream, a brownie, and a cherry on top.

Want to have multiple visits to Blizzard Beach Water Park during its season? Well, from now until May 23, 2025, Guests can with the Disney Water Parks Seasonal Pass. This limited-time special offer is back at only $79 plus tax.

Oh and don’t forget that for those staying at at a Disney Resort hotel in 2025, they can start their stay with a Water Park day with admission included on their check-in day. Oh and as of now, Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon has now closed for its season. We’ll keep you posted on when that water park will reopen, though we suspect it will be closer to the spring/summer.
