Disney’s Blizzard Beach Closing for Refurbishment September 8

Disney’s Blizzard Beach, the popular water park at the Walt Disney World Resort, will be temporarily closed for its annual refurbishment beginning Monday, September 8. Guests may continue to enjoy Blizzard Beach through Sunday, September 7.
Each year, the water parks close for an extended period of time for an annual refurbishment.
Disney has not provided details on the length of the closure or a reopening date. Typically it lasts a few months, usually until early Spring.
Typhoon Lagoon will remain open during this period.
