Butterbeer Season is Back at Universal Orlando Resort

Get ready, witches, wizards, and even you muggles! Butterbeer Season is back at Universal Orlando Resort!

For 2026, Butterbeer Season will run from March 1 through May 31, giving guests three full months to sip, snack, and celebrate one of the most iconic treats in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

And this year? The celebration is even more magical as Universal marks 25 years since the first Harry Potter film debuted.

New Exclusive Treats Debuting for Butterbeer Season 2026

If you thought Butterbeer Season couldn’t possibly get any sweeter… think again.

This year introduces an incredible lineup of exclusive, limited-time treats.

Making its debut for 2026, the Butterbeer Waffle will be available for a limited time at:

• Three Broomsticks in Hogsmeade
• Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley

Universal Orlando is also rolling out an impressive collection of new Butterbeer-inspired desserts, which will be exclusvely found at Honeydukes in Hogsmeade and Sugarplum’s Sweet Shop in Diagon Alley. These treats include:

• Butterbeer Cupcake
• Butterbeer Cookie Sandwich
• Butterbeer Candy Apple
• Butterbeer Shortbread Bar

And if you’re visiting the Ministry of Magic area, you’ll also find a new Biéraubeurre (Butterbeer) Crème Brûlée at Café L’air de la Siréne!

Butterbeer Season will mark the debut of Butterbeer-flavored truffles and macarons at Universal Orlando, which will be available year-round at K. Rammelle, the confectionary shop located inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic at Universal Epic Universe.

And of course, no Butterbeer Season would be complete without new merch. Guests can look forward to a brand-new assortment of Butterbeer-themed items, including:

• A Butterbeer Spirit Jersey
• A themed t-shirt
• A bucket hat
• And more magical surprises

Between the exclusive treats, year-round sweets at Epic Universe, and fresh merchandise, Butterbeer Season 2026 is shaping up to be the biggest one yet.

What Is Butterbeer Season?

If you’ve never experienced Butterbeer Season, here’s the simple explanation:

It’s a time to “Enjoy Butterbeer with your friends.”

But it’s also so much more than that.

During Butterbeer Season, Universal Orlando introduces limited-time treats and merchandise inspired by Butterbeer, giving fans new ways to indulge in the beloved wizarding flavors!

It’s basically the sweetest time of year inside The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

Celebrate Butterbeer season with cold, frozen, or my favorite version, hot Butterbeer. Pick up an ice lolly. Try Butterbeer creme brulee. Enjoy Butterbeer ice cream. Or you can even pick up a candy bar! (I just got one of these and it’s so decadent!) There’s even gonna be a Butterbeer waffle! There’s so many great choices!
