Disneyland runDisney Races On Hiatus Beginning 2026

Due to upcoming construction work being done, runDisney races at the Disneyland Resort will be placed on hiatus in 2026. This hiatus will start after the conclusion of the 2026 Disneyland Half Marathon Weekend.
One of the things that makes a runDisney race so unique is being able to run through the theme parks. That’s because, you’re not only running past the famous attractions, but also because there’s special entertainment and character experiences for Guests to experience. Due to upcoming construction impacts, that kind of race experience will be something that they are unable to provide guests with.
For the time being, runDisney fans will still be able to run through the Walt Disney World Resort in their four different race weekends. runDisney will continue to offer virtual races, as well.
