First Look: Cask & Cannon Pirate Lounge on the Disney Destiny

Avast Matey’s! Get ready to raise a glass in a brand-new lounge aboard the Disney Destiny themed around the iconic Pirates of the Caribbean attractions found in Disney Parks around the world.
Cask & Cannon is a cozy, story-heavy space. This lounge pays tribute to the classic rides, films, and legends of the high seas. It is the perfect spot to relax after a day of adventures on the seven seas.
The Atmosphere
A pirate would feel quite at home here. There are treasure maps and fishing nets, barrel stools, rum bottles, and skull-and-crossbones insignias, as well as nautical motifs and pirate iconography.
There is even a set of 13 drawers filled with treasure maps, each labeled with different scenes representing the global parks and attractions. They include: The Ghostly Grotto, Port Royale, Talking Skull Bay, Blue Bayou, and Treasure Cove. Meanwhile, the stacked treasure chests that make up the bar front nod to the treasure rooms and Captain’s Quarters in the films.
The Drinks
Of course, this is a pirate bar, so there is definitely rum. Cask & Cannon include a menu that includes rare, specialty, and vintage rums. There’s also a selection of specially developed “bootlegged” brews.
