La Poutinerie Coming to EPCOT: Refreshment Port Reimagined with Canadian Flair

EPCOT’s Refreshment Port is being transformed into La Poutinerie, a new Canadian-inspired quick service location in World Showcase. The update comes as part of a sponsorship with Air Canada, now the Official Canadian Airline of Walt Disney World Resort, and will bring a refreshed look and menu focused on one of Canada’s most iconic dishes: poutine.
Although an official reopening date has not yet been announced, the location has been closed for refurbishment since January 12, 2026.
What Is La Poutinerie at EPCOT?
La Poutinerie will replace the former Refreshment Port, a small quick service spot located near the Canada Pavilion in EPCOT’s World Showcase.
The reimagined location will offer “a taste of Canada at EPCOT.” Menu items will be centered around poutine, which are traditionally crispy fries topped with gravy and cheese curds. But they will also seemingly serve creative variations of the classic dish.
This transformation gives the location a clearer identity, especially for guests who previously confused it with Refreshment Outpost, another similarly named kiosk in World Showcase.
New Design Inspired by Canada
As you can see from the concept art for La Poutinerie, it reveals a refreshed and themed exterior that leans heavily into Canadian imagery.
Guests can expect to see:
- A new La Poutinerie sign
- A maple tree with vibrant fall foliage
- Canadian geese in flight incorporated into the design
The updated look aims to better connect the location with the nearby Canada Pavilion.

When Will La Poutinerie Open?
As of now, Disney has not announced an official reopening date for La Poutinerie.
