New Encanto Show Debuting at EPCOT This Summer

This summer….we are definitely going to be talking about Bruno! Beginning June 10 and only through September 6, a new summer sing-along will take place at EPCOT featuring the songs and story of “Encanto.” This new Walt Disney World limited-time show called “¡Celebración Encanto!” will take place several times throughout the day. It will allow Guests to sing along with some of their favorite songs from the film, but Mirabel and Bruno will be there on the newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage.

Wait….what? The newly opened CommuniCore Plaza stage? Yes!! The last walls at EPCOT are going to be coming down soon! The walls that are found in the center of the park currently will be down beginning June 10!

Also in this area, Guests will be able to hug some of your favorite characters with the new character greeting location, Mickey & Friends.

There will be lots more green space and relaxing areas in CommuniCore Plaza, as well as Inspiration Gardens too. More details about what to expect in this new area will be shared soon and trust me, we can’t wait to learn more! And we’re sure you can’t wait to learn more too.

Final Thoughts

It’s been too long since we’ve been able to walk down the center of EPCOT and I know I’ll be absolutely excited to be able to do so soon. Yes, it’s sad we didn’t get the fully announced new area, due to cutbacks thanks to things like COVID, but it is nice that this area has been updated. (I mean, it was SO dated when it closed all those years ago. It’s really nice to have an area that will be more modern.)

Also, really excited to see this new Encanto show! I’m a little surprised it took this long….given the massive hit that Encanto was a few years ago, but I’m still anxious to sing-along with Mirabel and Bruno.
