Disney’s Hollywood Studios Christmas Holiday Guide 2024

The Walt Disney World Resort is truly an incredible location to celebrate the Christmas Holiday season. The holidays are a magical time of at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The park really is the epitome of tinsel town with tinsel decor found throughout during the season. In addition, there are fun holiday shows like the the Sunset Seasons Greetings projection show, plus lots of other great holiday fun.

Here’s what Guests can expect to experience this year during the 2024 Disney’s Hollywood Studios Christmas holiday season.

Disney Jollywood Nights

Disney Jollywood Nights is back for its second year. It is a hard ticketed event that will take place on 13 select nights from November 9 through December 21, 2024.

The event will include the holiday nighttime fireworks spectacular, Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM! which is exclusive to the party. There is a show at the Theater of the Stars that is hosted by Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy that includes Disney friends and a spirited sing-along. Guests will be able to stop at a jazz lounge at The Hollywood Brown Derby and an other-worldly soiree at The Hollywood Tower Hotel Courtyard. And, if you head over to Animation Courtyard, you’ll find a Latin Street Fair. There will also be Disney characters will be available for the occasion. In addition, Guests will be able to ride favorite attractions throughout the night.

Sunset Seasons Greetings

Sunset Seasons Greetings is a nighttime projection show. During this nightly event, Guests are able to experience falling snow, twinkling lights and watch stories from several iconic Disney characters telling holiday stories via the Hollywood Tower Hotel which magically transforms. The stories include:

• Mickey and Minnie reminiscing about a hometown Christmas as the scene shifts into a romanticized, Norman Rockwell-inspired town.
• The Toy Story characters guessing which new toys are coming this Christmas.
• The Swedish Chef from The Muppets while the scene turns into giant gingerbread houses.
• Olaf pining over his holiday wish as the scene freezes over into a Frozen winter wonderland—complete with dancing Aurora Borealis lights and projected falling snow.

Toy Story Land

Toy Story Land gets special seasonal fun including holiday decor, including including oversized cranberry-and-popcorn garland, a holiday card “selfie”, an oversized Hamm sugar cookie, Green Alien ornaments and more.

The land’s attractions are also plussed up for the season, as Guests will hear sleigh bells ringing on Slinky Dog Dash, while Alien Swirling Saucers will offer two special holiday versions, plus themed lighting.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

During the holiday season, there’s a special holiday overlay that takes place during the show, For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration.

Meet Santa Claus

Santa Claus will be able to be found in the Once Upon a Time shop through December 24.

Once Old Saint Nick returns back to the North Pole, Santa Goofy will step in from December 25 – 31.

Holiday Decor

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios during the holiday season, “Tinsel Town” takes on a completely different kind of meaning. When celebrating Disney’s Hollywood Studios Christmas, Guests will find a giant Christmas tree that towers on Echo Lake, fantastic holiday displays, colorful garlands and lights that sparkle. Even the famous Dinosaur, Gertie, is dressed for the occasion.

Entertainment

This year, there will be three brand new live entertainment acts that will be part of the Disney’s Hollywood Studios Christmas holiday line up. They are:

• Juggling Elves: These holiday helpers deliver festive cheer with a side of shenanigans as they show off their skills of juggling, comedy and more!
• Holiday Spirit Band: This dynamic brass group will make everyone in your party want to join in the fun and stroll into Santa’s good graces.
• Seasons Jukebox: Hard-hitting horns, rocking drummers, and dazzling dancers will bring to life everyone’s favorite holiday classics and more.

Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine

Taking place most dates this holiday season will be Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine. Minnie Mouse hosts a festive dinner and is joined by her friends Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and special guest Santa Goofy. Holiday themed décor, food, music and activities create the perfect place to deck the halls with friends and family.
