Closing Dates Announced for Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo and Mama Melrose

We all have known that Disney is building a new Monsters Inc Land at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. And to make way for this new land, the area known as Grand Avenue would need to close, which features Muppet*Vision 3D, PizzeRizzo, and Mama Melrose.

Well, now we know the official date for those closures.

It will be a phased closure, with Mama Melrose Ristorante Italiano’s last day being May 10. We recently dined her prior to the closure and you can read our thoughts here.

The second phase of this closure will include Muppet*Vision 3D and PizzeRizzo. Both of these locations will close on June 7, 2025.

Do keep in mind that while Muppet*Vision 3D is closing, there will still be a Muppet attraction at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. That’s because it was announced that The Muppets will be taking over Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster, teaming up with some of music’s biggest stars for a rockin’ music festival!

As of right now, it does not appear that a closure date has been announced for Rock n’ Roller Coaster. We’ll let you know when that date will be when it’s shared.
