2025 EPCOT Cookie Stroll Review

The holiday season is upon us once again and once again, we set out to do one of very favorite activities around EPCOT during the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays – the EPCOT Cookie Stroll! We love getting to try the different cookies and seeing which ones are incredibly delicious and which ones are misses. And we love seeing what prize we get for completing the stroll!

How Does the EPCOT Cookie Stroll Work?

2025 EPCOT Cookie Stroll

Each year, Guests can purchase 5 cookies (they can all be the same cookie, or they can be different ones from different booths…it’s much more fun to try different ones from different booths!). When they’ve done that, they’ll head to the Holiday Sweets and Treats booth for a special prize.

While you don’t HAVE to complete it all in one day, part of the fun, for us anyway, is to try all the cookies in the same day. We also have a rule that we have to try 5 different cookies. We won’t just buy 5 cookies at one booth and call it a day.

The best thing about the 2025 Cookie Stroll is the fact that this year, they’ve increased the number of cookies that are options you can choose from! So, we had plenty of choices to try this year!

So, we set out for our stroll on opening day of the festival for this year.

Cookie Stroll Container

EPCOT Cookie Stroll 2024

Let’s start with the giant elephant in the room. Last year, Disney introduced the Holiday Cookie Stroll container. It was a MASSIVE hit, selling out almost immediately. It allowed me the opportunity to bring home my cookies, since trying 5 cookies in one sitting is no small fete! You get very full very quickly, plus it’s just so much sugar.

So, I thought for sure they would have a new one this year!

I couldn’t be more wrong. They did not have a Cookie Stroll container this year, which I feel like was a HUGE miss.

I was exceptionally glad that I brought my container back from last year to use. And many people asked where I got it.

So, Disney, if you’re listening…bring back the Holiday cookie Stroll container.

Let’s Begin the Stroll

2025 EPCOT Cookie Stroll

This year, there were a number of new cookies added to the stroll and there were some that were returning favorites! For this year’s stroll, we tried almost all new cookies for this year’s stroll and one that I’d had a long time ago, but they seemingly changed the recipe, so I wanted to taste it again.

The first cookie we went for was the returning cookie – the Black and White Cookie. This cookie can be found at at the L’chaim! Holiday Kitchen. This time it was shaped like Mickey Mouse and it was also not a plant-based cookie, which it had been before. The flavors of this cookie were just ok. It was a servicable cookie, but kind of blah. There wasn’t a lot of flavor, and even the icing didn’t really help. I was glad I tried it again, but if it comes back again next year, (and it probably will), it will likely be a skip for me.

Next, we went with the Chocolate Cookie from American Holiday Table. This cookie feature Snickers pieces and had delightful caramel in it. This cookie was a winner. It had nice salty sweet flavor and the chocolate wasn’t overpowering.

Our third cookie and fourth cookies went hand in hand. You see, they were from the new booth called The Experimental Prototype Cookies of Tomorrow. This booth had one of my favorite cookies overall and it’s been a yearly favorite. This is my must get cookie each and every year. HOWEVER this is actually the first time the cookie has been part of the cookie stroll and that was the Salted-Caramel Spaceship Earth Cookie! This one is perfect. It’s got good salty sweet caramel, the cookie itself is a great buttery flavor and the sugar crystals on top give it the perfect extra sweetness. Oh and let’s not forget that it’s legit in the shape of Spaceship Earth. I was so happy that they added this cookie to the stroll this year and hope that it continues in the future. This is a can’t miss cookie!

Ok, so let’s talk about the fourth cookie, which also came from this booth. We went with the Ginger-Molasses Cookie with Cream Cheese Icing. This was a really good gingerbread-type cookie. The ginger flavor wasn’t overpowering and the molasses was a nice touch. And let’s not forget the addition of the cream cheese icing, which added some nice flavor and made the cookie way less boring. Again, another hit.

Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie

The last cookie we went with was over at the Yukon Holiday Kitchen. It was the Maple Leaf Shortbread Cookie with Maple Buttercream. This cookie was really cute. Since it was at the Canada pavilion, the maple leaf tied in perfectly. However, for me, the maple very much overpowered this cookie. It was way too strong and almost fake tasting. I would have like to have seen a more subtle maple flavor mixed with the shortbread cookie. This was a huge miss for me. But if you LOVE maple, this one will likely be for you.

The Cookie Stroll Prize

As I mentioned, once you’ve purchased 5 cookies, you can head to the Holiday Sweets and Treats booth for your prize. This year, the prize was a container of M&M minis, as well as a very adorable spatula!

Final Thoughts

We had a blast this year doing the cookie stroll. Just take a look at our video…you can see how much we enjoy doing it each year. And I can promise we’ll do it again next year too! It’s just a lot of fun and a great way to celebrate the holidays, as well as participate in the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays. I strongly suggest, if you’re looking for something fun to do with your family, definitely consider participating in the EPCOT Cookie Stroll!
