Universal Orlando Resort is about to get a whole lot more country.

A brand new Luke Combs-themed restaurant called Luke Combs’ Category 10 has officially been announced for Universal CityWalk, with an opening timeframe set for late 2027.

If you’re a fan of live music, energetic nightlife, and larger-than-life dining experiences, this is one Universal Orlando expansion you’ll want to keep on your radar.

Luke Combs’ Category 10 Coming to Universal CityWalk

Luke Combs’ new restaurant will be an all-new location built exclusively for Universal CityWalk, meaning this isn’t a re-theme of an existing space. It will be a brand-new addition to the entertainment district.

The new Universal Orlando location will be approximately 33,000 square feet and span three stories.

The venue will feature experiential areas inspired by Combs’ music and personal passions, creating a one-of-a-kind atmosphere designed for both tourists and locals.

The Category 10 name pays tribute to Luke Combs’ 8x platinum debut No. 1 hit song “Hurricane.”

Luke Combs Shares His Excitement for Orlando

Luke Combs also shared his excitement about bringing the Category 10 brand to Florida, especially since the state is close to home for his family.

“I have a line in my song ‘1, 2 Many,’ ‘there’s no stopping me once I get goin’. Well, I guess you can say the same about Cat 10 now,” said Luke Combs. “I know Orlando is a worldwide destination spot, so I’m super pumped and humbled that we’re getting to open a location there. My wife is from Florida, so we’re both super excited about this. I am glad to be bringing our brand of first-class service and awesome tunes to the Sunshine State.”

The restaurant is expected to break ground in summer 2026. This will be the third location for the Category 10 brand. The flagship is in Nashville, Tennessee and another location will be opening in Las Vegas in fall 2026.

When Will The Restuarant Break Ground?

While the opening date isn’t set yet beyond “late 2027,” it’s been shared that the project is expected to break ground in summer 2026.

This Will Be the Third Category 10 Location

The Universal CityWalk Orlando venue will be the third Category 10 location overall.

Here’s where the brand currently stands:

  • Flagship location: Nashville, Tennessee
  • Second location: Las Vegas (opening fall 2026)
  • Third location: Universal CityWalk Orlando (opening late 2027)

Final Thoughts

Luke Combs’ Category 10 is shaping up to be one of the biggest new additions Universal CityWalk has seen in years. Between the size, the theme, and the built-in fanbase, this is absolutely going to be a hot ticket spot once it opens.
