Disneyland Resort Christmas Holiday Guide 2025

The holiday season kicks off at the Disneyland Resort on November 14, 2025 this year and there’s some great new entertainment options, as well as some fantastic returning favorites to help make your season bright.
Want to know what’s taking place this year? We’ve got the guide to help you navigate it all for Disneyland Park, Disney California Adventure, and even the Downtown Disney District.
“A Christmas Fantasy Parade”
“A Christmas Fantasy Parade” returns for another year. The parade is filled with elves, dancing gingerbread cookies and prancing reindeer. Disney characters such as Anna and Elsa from “Frozen,” Disney Princesses, Buzz Lightyear from “Toy Story” and more also join in, with Santa Claus appearing in the grand finale.
“Believe…In Holiday Magic”
The “Believe…In Holiday Magic” fireworks spectacular lights up the night sky above Disneyland as Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle shimmers with more than 80,000 twinkling lights, sparkling “icicles” and glistening snow-capped turrets. You can also experience a magical “snowfall” along parts of Main Street, U.S.A., near “it’s a small world” Holiday and along the Rivers of America during Wintertime Enchantment at Sleeping Beauty’s Winter Castle each night.
Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends! at Fantasyland Theatre
Throughout the day, Santa Claus and select Disney characters will make appearances and pose for holiday photos at “Holiday Fun with Santa and Friends!” at the Fantasyland Theatre. Families can also enjoy craft making, sing-alongs of holiday classics and atmospheric music.
Holiday Attraction Overlays
Many favorite attractions receive holiday overlays to celebrate the season.
Of course, the Haunted Mansion Holiday will roll over from the Halloween season, but we’ll also get a seasonal version with it’s a small world Holiday, there’s also holiday versions of Luigi’s Joy to the Whirl and Mater’s Jingle Jamboree in Disney California Adventure!
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party
The Disney ¡Viva Navidad! Street Party, hosted by The Three Caballeros, features lively Mexican folklórico dancers and mariachis, uplifting Brazilian samba dancers and percussionists, and more! Plus, Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse make an appearance in fiesta attire.
Mirabel’s Gifts of the Season
On select days, Mirabel and her friends gather at Paradise Gardens Park! During this whimsical street performance, you’ll be able to sing along to “Surface Pressure,” “We Don’t Talk About Bruno,” and other tunes from Encanto.
A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!
Also on select days, you may encounter Miguel from Coco at Carthay Circle as he joins Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland for heartfelt stories and holiday songs. “A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel!” is an evening street performance with beautiful, bilingual renditions of holiday songs.
‘The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special’
After making his Disneyland Resort debut last year, Deadpool is back for more holiday hilarity and super special seasonal stories. You can see him during “The Story Time with Deadpool Holiday Special” near Avengers Campus.
This limited-time entertainment offering celebrates the season in the way only Deadpool can. At select performances, Wolverine may also stop by. Find out more here.
Holiday Lighting Moments
At Disney California Adventure, you’ll have the opportunity to witness the tree illuminate during the Buena Vista Street Tree Lighting!
As dusk begins to fall each night at Disneyland, you can gather in front of “it’s a small world” Holiday to watch thousands of twinkling lights come to life! Then, during select times throughout the night, a light projection show animates the façade of the attraction with a holiday colors and images!
Meet Santa Claus
Take photos and tell Santa what’s on your wish list at Redwood Creek Challenge Trail in Disney California Adventure through December 24.
Santa will also be found at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, Disneyland Hotel and Pixar Place Hotel from November 27 through December 24.
Special Character Appearances
Enjoy special holiday meals with some of your favorite Disney characters dressed in their holiday finest at Goofy’s Kitchen. Plus, at Storytellers Cafe, you can dine with the characters dressed in their Mickey’s Christmas Carol outfits!
Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail
Get in the spirit of the holiday season along Chip and Dale’s Ornament Trail! Search for ornaments that are hidden on holiday trees throughout the Downtown Disney District. This special scavenger hunt will take place from November 14, 2025 through January 7, 2026 or while supplies last.
