To celebrate Mardi Gras, Disney has given us a gift! At Walt Disney World, the exciting attraction, Tiana’s Bayou Adventure will now open at the Magic Kingdom in Summer 2024! (Previously, it had just been shared that the attraction would be opening in late 2024.)
In addition, today, we got our first glimpse at Tiana! And let me tell you, she looks fantastic in her brand new outfit!

We also learned that the bayou will be getting a whole swampful of new neighbors when the attraction finally opens! Friendly critters like an otter, a rabbit, a racoon, a beaver, a turtle and more will be joining the adventure with Tiana that are musically talented! They’ve built their own instruments from natural materials they found in the bayou.
But that’s not all! Along with Princess Tiana, Louis and Mama Odie, keep an eye out for Eudora, Charlotte, Prince Ralphie, Prince Naveen, and others.
For those who don’t know, this ride will be all about Tiana after she made her own dreams come true. In Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, she’s throwing a festive party during Mardi Gras season. She’s doing this to thank her family, friends and the entire community for all the support they’ve given her. And we get to celebrate with her!
Now, while Tiana’s Bayou Adventure opens at Walt Disney World Resort in Florida this summer, the attraction is still slated to open later in 2024 at Disneyland Park in California.
I’m super excited for the opportunity to get to ride Tiana’s Bayou Adventure. The attraction looks like it’s going to be great and I love the music for “The Princess and the Frog,” so I think it’s the perfect choice for this attraction. And the fact that it’s going to open at Walt Disney World in the summer is just fantastic. What are your thoughts of the fact that the attraction will be opening earlier than anticipated.

I just want to-the-point information that is true and not speculated. Thank you for your refreshing "new" take on giving us Disney people just what we want!
Now... I CANNOT WAIT FOR TIANA'S BAYOU ADVENTURE to open! Although I probably won't be in the parks for about a year or so I will be so excited to see how well it is received. I am a Disney purist and I loved Splash Mountain! However, being from the New Orleans bayou area I am just as excited to see the change to TBA (Tiana's Bayou Adventure) Am I the first to give it its acronym? If so here it is and I won't mind if you'd like to use it on your website or the podcast. May as well get it going now!
