Updated Details Released about Test Track Refurbishment

Currently, Test Track at EPCOT is now under refurbishment. At the D23 Expo, Guests were treated with a few updates about the status of this newly updated attraction.

This will be a brand-new experience when the reimagined Test Track presented by Chevrolet races into EPCOT in 2025.

Announced during Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event, Walt Disney Imagineering is collaborating with Chevrolet to push innovation forward. The goal of this new attraction is to celebrate humanity’s enduring drive on the thrilling road to a brighter tomorrow. When the attraction reopens, Test Track will celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.

About the Queue

Disney did share an update about the queue. It will feature six distinct exhibits, and within each room celebrate the vehicles, as well as the people behind the vehicles, that help get people to our next chapter in our motion journey. 

New Test Track

In addition, new show scenes will be added showcasing technological advances about how our lifestyles and relationships to moving around connects us to everyone. Scenes in this new ride will focus on onboard technology, customization and personalization. And yes, we’ll still go outside, in a way that reminds us all of the joys of driving. 

Construction on this reimagined experience has already begun. Test Track will reopen in 2025. We’ll make sure to share those details when we learn them here on the site.
