New Test Track PhotoPass On-Ride Photo Revealed

It’s almost time to buckle up because Test Track is returning soon and Disney PhotoPass shared the all new PhotoPass on-ride attraction photo that will be available for Guests! And after viewing it….we have some questions! What’s going on with the background?! Flying cars? The future….ooohhhh….

Test Track reopens with its third version on July 22, 2025. This attraction update will debut an all-new musical score, as well as new scenes that highlight technology making cars smarter and our lives more fun. 

About Test Track 3.0

While Test Track has always celebrated new and future automotive technology, this new version has a goal to remind us of what a road trip is all about: spending quality time in the company of friends and family while embracing the world around you. When the attraction reopens, Test Track will celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.

New show scenes will showcase technological advances about how our lifestyles and relationships to moving around connects us to everyone. Scenes in this new ride will focus on onboard technology, customization and personalization. One of the new scenes Guests will experience showcases how vehicles can use advanced cameras and sensors to “see” the world they drive through. And yes, we’ll still go outside, in a way that reminds us all of the joys of driving.  We’ve been hearing the cars race around the track a lot lately, as it’s been testing.

Previews

Final touches are currently being worked on and select Guests will be able to take part in Test Track previews. Those will include cast members, Annual Passholders, Disney Vacation Club Members, Golden Oak residents and Club 33 Members. Cast Member previews have already been announced, but other previews have not yet. I’ll share more details with you as I learn them.
