Stormalong Bay Reopens After Refurbishment at Disney’s Beach & Yacht Club

Whew! After a six-month refurbishment, Stormalong Bay has reopened todayat Disney’s Beach and Yacht Club Resorts.

The refurbishment work included newly resurfaced pools, rebuilt cabanas, new decking, and updated seating.

It kept seeing like the popular pool would be returning soon for Guests because water had returned to the pool area recently. As of today, the pool is operating as normal.

Stormalong Bay features some unique aspects like a sand-bottom pool, a lazy river and whirlpool spas! It’s truly an incredible pool to experience. And it’s so popular that Disney does monitor the Guests going in to make sure they are staying at the resorts.

Stormalong Bay had been closed since January 2025 for routine maintenance and upgrades.
